Both using blasters, with the same fits.
A very funny sight to behold. It's like 2 turtles dukin it out, with no end in sight. Plenty of tank to tank mounting to boot.

I was in an ambush where it was 2 triple rep maddies with MLT blasters. They literally couldn't kill each other so they gave up and just started shooting their corresponding reds while sitting next right next to each other.

Or put some SP into large blasters and put on a neutron blaster. Since I can only use the militia blasters, I run away from anything that's not a militia or standard turret, as they will surely out-DPS you and bring you down first.
That said, I once did manage to defeat an Ion Cannon Maddy with my militia blaster Maddy

Reminds me of when I joined, at the last build of skirmish 1.0
The snipers (only skirmish map was line harvest) were ******* evil- snipers from both teams were SHARING TOWERS in order to avoid getting into sniper duels, and instead focusing on the rest of the infantry.

This only ever happened to me once when I only had STD Heavy Reppers.
Another with a STD Blaster, hardener, and two heavy reps couldn't get me as much as he tried. We overheated twice - I tried ramming hoping to topple over to his hull. We disengaged, and I got him later with the help of rail turrets.
Though why would people use hardeners nowadays?

That's usually what I run, the ADV on my triple rep maddie. With a few more points in blaster profiency (I'm not a blasters kind of guy) I'm sure I could easily fit a proto blaster, but the end result would be the same with double complex reps and a STD rep.
ALWAY an exciting battle though. I've only had one myself, cept there were 2 other tanks involved. I drop one, the sica rail, then go for the blaster maddie. After a minute or 2 of fighting, I realized very quickly that neither one of us were getting anywhere fast. Eventually his buddy finally came back, but those triple reps laugh at a poorly skilled railer without damage mods.
We put on quite the show though.

On day one of 1.7 with the 100% nitro boosters, I had this happen more than once that first day. I fit for passive reps with a basic blaster and nitrous.
Many tanks I ran into, we could not kill each other, so we too ended up sitting side by side and hunting down infantry.
Great fun, very comical but a broken game mechanic I think. |

it will only end with a tie. aka one of them runs out of AMMO and has to fall back to restock.
(this is the other tanks chance to run back pull out a missile tank and end it for good.)
