Anyone remember CCP trolling about bringing dinosaurs into DUST, but they cancelled it because they would be OP.

And Infinite worlds... That's something CCp was talking about for EVE 8 years ago with exploration.

4 people are making that game....4. What excuse does CCP or really any game developer have if those guys can pull off the game they are trying to make with 4 guys.
However, some things I would like to point out is that from what I have caught No Man's Sky doesn't have a story or really a point to playing it and I believe it is single player pretty much.
If I'm wrong on those points please correct me, but that makes it seem like it will be lacking for me.
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Personally while the multiplayer is kind of almost along the same route of Demon's Soul or stuff other players did being able to affect others, I mean 4 F**KING PPL!!!!! If they had 8 ppl they could've probably pulled an even bigger experimeent with the multiplayer. It was nice how well this game was featured as one of the key games being featured on the PS4 [because obviously there are just Dust players who ask why consoles are still around].
One thing that is really great with Sony's current approach with games have been taking risks on indie developments and Journey was something that really opened the possibility of these genre of games being popular. This has been a game a lot of folks have been watching since last year and no announcement has been even made for the choice of platform(s) but it seems it may only come to the PS4 |

See, sharing the same universe but never being able to run into another player just doesn't do it for me I think. I am awfully impressed with what they are building with only 4 people, but as someone from IGN talking to Sean asked, it seems like it Minecraft in space (but pretty). Millions of people love Minecraft so I am willing to bet I'm in the minority, but I need story and/or goals to drive me in a game. That all said I wish these folks tons of success and depending on how the game is priced I'll probably check it out.

With everyone racing to the "Center" maybe it will grow into a more MMO'y type experience.
But yes spacing everyone out and adding more as people join will be how you start out. On a Planet you discover and name with plants and animals you name (I Believe), and then build your game experience from there.. Explorer... Combat focused.. Best tech.... W/e.. |

I know right! I had never heard of it, and then I saw the footage and what it was about. Holy crap!!
One thing I find amazing?
It took 4 devs to put that together
FOUR!!!
I won't name names, but look at how many bland if not horrible games are out there that have multitudes more working on it.
