When you say "no skill lock-on" well, you don't know what you're talking about. Yes, no "skill" in a point-and-shoot way, but MUCH skill in trying to stay alive while completely exposed and vulnerable trying to get a lock, not to mention and gimping your suit/infantry weapon in order to fit proto swarms (the only kind worth fitting). Swarms haven't been effective at killing anything since the prototype was nerfed to dealing the amount of damage the standard used to do and the standard has never been effective at killing anything but idiots. And we can't forget the only truly useful module for an AV fit, damage mods have also been nerfed so that they give a smaller percentage boost to a smaller damage value. The only real threat from the SL for a DS is getting knocked around into buildings. So the people that lose their DS to a SL either got knocked into something or were being idiots and let it kill them. Can't say I'm all that surprised.
