People quit then get replaced..
Other then the player count increases that happened in the lead up to 1.8 and then the excitement bubble of Fanfest.. There hasn't been much loss for player counts then what DUST was achieving through 1.4-1.7.

I'm not going to say DUST has the most solid of bases, but doomsayers on these forums have reduced all doom-and-gloom "foreshadows" to the point of being directly comparable to how many "end-of-the-world" events I supposedly have lived through in real life...

there hasn't been much loss of *peak* playercounts. there has been serious loss on *average* playercounts.

I just skilled into the PLC. Started using some remotes for the first time. Might check out some flux grenades too.
Yea, I'm still having a good time and there's still much offering for me in New Eden as a mercenary. The game is still fun, I still enjoy playing with my corpmates and avenues has yet to be explored that I'm exploring now.
The only other game that I would say is still fun after all this time, like Dust, is Bad Company 2. I need to see if the servers are still up on that game.
