Gallente are supposed to have higher PG than Caldari, and Caldari are supposed to have higher CPU.
That has been established in 1.8 with scouts, sentinels and commandos, and even without it, it still makes sense.
All of my Gallente Assault fits are absolutely MAXED on PG, while I have 50something leftover CPU.

welcome to dust where complex shield extenders only cost one less PG than a complex armor plate and cost 1.5 times the CPU... |

Just FYI, 1 PG = 10 CPU
