Dual complex damage modded Kalaakiota Rail Rifle loses to Boundless Combat Rifle. He was stationary and all my shots hit, but the CR still out DPS'es everything.
I'm really starting to regret coming back to DUST because it's near unplayable. Dealing with the same crap and playing the same people on the same s*** maps is getting really old really fast.
BF4 and its terrible netcode is more fun than DUST, hell, BRINK was quasi more enjoyable and that's like the ultimate low blow.
Please just focus all your attention on legion so I can jump ship already.

In my experience, if the opposing player has any gun game, I lose to the CR with my RR if I don't engage at longer distances. Up close I get wasted virtually every time. I've resorted to going for head shots, which sometimes work, but mostly doesn't.
Then again, I don' t have the gun game you do, Aisha, so take the above FWIW. Also, I use the ARR almost exclusively.
The nerf on the CR wasn't enough, IMO. |

Um no brotato chip, I used the RR because I've maxed it out and I enjoy the weapon. As far as the ScR, that's completely maxed out too and I've been using it since 5/14/13 so get your facts straight before you come at me with your accusations.
As far as the OP weapons in the game, hands down the CR, 95/110 is TOO damn good of a profile, so you're wrong again bro.

At least you can play dust I have been trying to get a fix for a while now. When bf4 came out I took a two week break from dust to play it. It was fun for the first three days and then it got really boring really fast. I was in the top tank division and was bored out of my mind, there just wasn't any meaning, I had no feels. going back to dust felt great.
There is the new battlefield coming out, though I have no idea wtf is going on there.

Why would you think Legion won't have the same glaring balance issues?
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

Well, you and I both know that assault suits are currently pretty OP, BUT the heat sink bonus on the Amarr Assault is God's gift to laser weapon lovers, it's saved my ass multiple times.
I currently use the ScR on my Amarr scouts and you don't know how badly I wish that CCP would nix the **** poor stamina bonus and give it the heat sink bonus.

This does not make the CR OP or any other rifle UP. With hotfix alpha in, i think this is the most balanced light weapons have ever been. Yes, everyone seems to be falling to the CR, but i think that has more to do with the ease of use of the CR and not the dps itself. The RR, & SCR since we can't talk to Aisha without bringing them up, need a higher player skill level to use effectively. Hell, even the AR is putting up a good fight.

Yeah my longest kill with a CR was about 87m on a wounded player. I was rather shocked by how bad ass that felt.

True, but you and i both know you won't be killing a 1100 Hp gallente assault without Overheat, and that your tradeoff is just that: heat.

We were a relatively civil and nice community and no hotfixes so I'm left to assume that things only change when we just "rage" over and over and over. No wonder guys hate nagging girls  But you're approach of "point it out in the forums" is a year late and apparently we get more results ranting about it so let the rants commence |

Yeah still waiting on another descent freespace but looks like legal . Also for a similar story of long waits and disappointments; 3d Realms Duke Nukem. Tease after tease for 12 years and still didn't amount to a good game still; and now it is stuck in legal limbo to likely never see the light again for a very long time. The only incident more worse than this is the never ending legal battle of Macross vs Robotech vs Battletech which to I see no end to this poor fan's 20 years of suffering.

As someone who still does work in this area the Robotech vs Macross vs Battletech was already settled but only in Japan as all the titles seems to have had multi licensing issues and restrictions that prevent its production. It's also a big reason why in the 90's no one ever saw a Gundam game or series officially released (one or two exceptions in the whole universe really at the time) in the 90's. Robotech still goes over currently as the Mechwarrior part of the universe as Mechwarrior were the original titles released for the PC around 2000 at:

I believe Battletech's Mechwarrior is F2P but has limits on the actual mechs currently available with the clan wars vs. the inner sphere something that was announced and may be out now. For those not familiar with it, Battletech was the actual battle map part with the nifty metal/plastic figures on the hexagon based board while Mechwarrior was similar to D&D, Rifts and WoD in having a gamemaster to play. |

Mathematically speaking, no matter what your fit (excepting some heavies) in a 1v1 where both people know the other's there, shield extenders beat damage mods. Unless you can't afford the PG, in which case you might even be better off with an enhanced shield extender instead of the second mod...

Ain't no 'feels like' about it :P
Essentially, until an extender would make up less than 5% of total EHP you're better off with more extenders. (IIRC. I don't remember the actual numbers.)
