Why would anyone pay ringers anymore? Isk generation is all active now, so there's no incentive to pay people to fight, that's just wasting money.

Even so, the risk to still be removed from PC is a real factor. Corps will still pay for knowledge and skill, not just a space filler. Ringing won't die out.
