Trophy requests have been made before, but here me out:
Once the "Alpha patches" have gotten the game more or less balanced as best as they can, release a clientside patch that includes trophy support. Maybe a few smaller tweaks that can't be done server side also.
CCP can justify this for two reasons:
1- Lots of PS3 users are trophy mad and will play just to get the trohies (seriously).
2- Most F2P games on PSN require money spent on the game to activate the trophies.
So say you need to spend at least $5 to get trophies. half are easy to get, half are a challenge. Lots of new player play the game for the easy trophies. Older players play to get the challenging ones. Lots of new people buying Aurum and starter packs. |

Ugg no. Trophies are stupid and only lead to people doing foolish things just to earn them. It would denigrate the soul of the game. I've always said no to trophies and I'll keep on saying it whenever it is brought up.

This is THE ONLY GAME Ive seen on playstation that doesnt do Trophies! CCP has been downhill since beta. OP and nerfin since. So yes we need Crazy things to do in this boring 4 map game which has become a one sided drag. |

I realize that client side patches are all but impossible at this point. But I figured if we can make a valid argument that features (like trophies) could bring more income into the game, CCP might be convinced to do so. And if they did decide to make a patch that added trophies, that increases the chances of other things being added/changed as well. |

All but impossible doesn't seem to be accurate here, @Moonracer2000. Impossible that is for certain though. Nobody is working on the dust client, those that were are now on the project that has yet to be approved - project legion.
Soon to be the canceled project legion. Soon enough anyway (one can dream). 
Read the interviews, read their posts, read the random BS they spew when they explain how they are not the worst company in gaming history and about their layoffs. You will note that the one thing that is consistent is an absolute disregard for the truth (or reality, whatever). WoD was a disaster. The dust team is happy to be only working on the pc client now. Too many limitations on the PS3. Plus, there are no customers complaining on the PC version.
Of course, none of them are buying aurum either.
Nobody at CCP cares because we ain't Legionnaires.
