you can abuse the system and farm isk in PC - the payouts are crap. Most people will lose more ISK then they gain. The corp will barely make anything from clone goo - you'd be better off just having 50 members with 5% tax.

You seem to fail the idea behind it. PC shouldnt be about ISK farming and more about decent competetive matches which you will never have on pubs. And the payouts are there to be capable to keep playing in protofits. That goes for winning teams not scrubs who go 0-20. |

You haven't been playing much PC, have you? 4mil payout is still crap and you won't even get that. There's a reason merc rates were set at 3mil. PC matches get expensive - especially for vehicle pilots.
PC had a point before, now it's a lobby shooter strictly to play a terrible game.

This system with window timers would change the game. This system without something else to increase the volume of attacks does nothing for participation from the larger Dust community. Those dumbass blueberries need to step up and team deploy 24/7 gives them incentive.
Successful defenses should see a payout modifier increase along with an open threat that funds would be seized for abusing mechanics (fake battles for ISK farming). This gives incentive for holding land and maintaining the necessary troops for district defense.
Potential 4 mil ISK payouts and 24/7 PC battles.
I guess it just depends on how you look at it. I think this would be a good thing. It circles back around and fills a need for team deploy within the larger community. |

Sota, most of the people who agree with this new system are apart of corps that aren't even good to stay on top of PC regularly, or they're bitter because they just... suck at... DUST

You seem to fail to understand that PC is only competitive when there is no lag screwing one team over from the start.
PC has been and is a joke from the start, dabbled in it here and there but don't really care cause it never mattered or meant anything.
Got many laughs from the so called "pro's" arguing and chest thumping about a video game with broken mechanics though, good times.

One of the things we really like about PC is because its a way for all of us to actually play a game together since their is no team deploy.
I mean, we can do FW but we're not guaranteed to get into the same battle, and it seems whenever you QSync FW that you're just redlining newer players.
so no, it doesn't matter. its just nice to have a district is all :) |

Whereas before it was good for stroking epeen and accumulating enough ISK to protostomp endlessly in pub for greater epeen stroking. What else was there to do with ISK gained? If it was so you could use it in PC the dynamics are still there for that.
