I am a shield tanker i run nothing but shield tanks and it just pisses me off that i cant aim down to save my life but a soma or mati can literally aim through it tank and fire at a 45 degree angle down, i mean i understand that the turret is higher up but when your barrel is inside the the front end of your tank shooting that is ridicules! so im trying to use shield tanks but you have made armor tanks better in almost every way! they have more armor they move faster, they shoot just as hard, AND they can aim and shoot through there body's. and they just slap on a rail and there almost impossible to take down by yourself in fact the rail mati is so powerful that the only way i can beat it is to sneak up on it with 3 damage mods and hope i can kill him/her before he/she turns on speed and fly s back faster then i can aim and parks behind me.
i propose a damage buff to shield tanks with rails or a damage nurf on rails on armor tanks becouse at this rate ill be the only one using shield tanks if something is not done about this

Oh holy **** no more damage on the rails. Seriously - those things are ludicrously powerful. Giving shield tanks a rail damage buff would give utterly insane damage to the rails. You can already nearly OHKO ADSes with triple damage modded particle cannons...
I do agree that armour HAVs are outperforming shield ones at the moment but buffing large rails is really not the solution to that.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

you already can ohk a python with 3 dmg mods, and there's less than a second delay between shots
Dedicated heavy through the hard times, still supporter of A FULL 1.8 respec and MOAR HEAVY WEAPONS!

Nick munson and i were experimenting with some rather fun shield tanks, deadly against armour tanks....

Yep, and this is why large rails do not need a damage buff in any way, shape, or form.

oh and i forgot limet only one damage mod allowed to be active at a time

also you assault dropship have similer problem but i lost cout how many times iv have one of you guys just orbit me with proto and i cant do anything about that
