I have at least lvl 4 in all Amarr dropsuits and lvl 5 in all Armor modules and laser weapons... anyone else out there sticking to only their race's tech???

I mainly run minmatar, have:
Minscout 4, commando 5, assault 3, logi 1
Also, Combat Rifle is Prof2, reload/ammo 3.
Mass driver, Prof 2, reload 2.
SMG, prof 3, reload/ammo 3.
Flaylocks, op3(sorry baby...)
Swarms i consider an extension of my race, and are at prof/reload/ammo 3, going prof 4 for Fitting Op.
I'm also considering crosstraining into Gallente tech, as putting best CQC on best mobility suit kinda seems natural to me.
Assault Rifle, op5, prof 1 tomorrow, and SS1.
Ion/plc are Op3, with Plc having ammo 2, reload 2.
Shotgun is Op4, reload 2.
Assault/logi is currently lv1, hopi g to proto Assault before my Min.
Scout is 3, kinda hoping to proto that soon.

I wanted to for minmatar, but I really don't like their scout, or the flaylock pistol.
So far I have:
Logistics 5
Sentinel 3
Commando 3
Assault 3
HMG prof 5
Combat Rifle prof 4
Mass Driver prof 4
SMG prof 3
That said...I'm a bit racially confused. Some call it an identity crisis (I just call it having 45 million sp)
In terms of AMARR stuff (yes, it's my guilty pleasure):
Sentinel 4
Assault 4
Commando 3
Scrambler Rifle prof 5
Laser Rifle prof 3
That said, I hardly ever mix and match items though. If I'm using an Amarr commando I'm not using combat rifles or mass drivers. The only exception is the Amarr Sentinel, because there isn't an Amarr heavy weapon.
I can tell you one thing though, I absolutely dislike almost anything Caldari or Gallente. I do have a few skills placed here or there for certain things (I like the PLC and bolt pistols), but of my 45 million sp I have maybe less than a million into that tech (aside from equipment, modules, and vehicles)

I kinda had to skill into other race's gear, hell all three of my race skills are for another race's crap....
But mostly Matar yes, with a splash of gallente, and a sprinkle of caldari.
In the end I remain a mercenary not a soldier, despite my loyalty.

I'm pretty sure the minmatar bonuses apply to combat rifles, SMGs and mass drivers.
Yes the scout gets a bonus to caldari knives but I think that's it really.

The only thing I own that's not Gallente Themed, that includes all hybrids, is lvl 1 into scrambler pistol.
But the scrambler pistol uses plasma as are all Gallente weapons. So I'm fine with that random, what, 6,000 SP?

This character is split between Amarr and Gallente as far as Proto stuff goes. Currently Amarr Assault V, Gal Scout V and trying to decide on which heavy. (Min is most fun, but Gal/Amarr would be more practical due to having all armor stuff maxed.) Proto ScR, SG, PlC and ScP (probably Ion Pistol next). My other characters, though...
Amarr alt: Commando V, Scout IV, Sentinel III, Assault + Logi I
Minmatar alt: Scout IV, Commando + Sentinel + Logi III, Assault I
Gallente alt: Scout IV, Commando + Sentinel III, Assault + Logi I
Caldari alt: Scout IV, Commando + Sentinel + Assault III, Logi I
Man, my main would have a kittenload of SP if I'd just played on him.

My main is 90% Gallente, but now I decided to make it Gallente + Caldari because I can only have three accounts.
My other two are pure Minmatar and Amarr.
However, my main has Scrambler Pistols at 3 and a few other wonky things, because of the ****** NPE in this game.
He's also my vehicle character. |

I am but almost inadvertently. Cal scout with all the Cal vehicles (can't stand armor vehicles).
Tried Cal sent on my alt but not liking it too much. Calmmando is pretty good for sniping though.
I don't even like the Caldari all that much philosophically, though they have some of my favorite ships in Eve as well.

Proficiency 5 in AR, 2 in Plasma Cannon, 3 in Shotgun, Level 3 Pistol (only Level 3 because if you're not carrying a SMG, you're just asking to land in a bad situation.)
(I am adding a mK.0 or aK.0 Sentinel soon, but dunno which. Speed or Power? Hmmm....) |

I got the full set of Mk.0 suits & use all of them regularly. The only Minmatar weapon I don't use is the Flaylock. Thats just because the SMG beats the **** out of it. The only non-Matar weapon I use is the Swarm Launcher because its ******* awesome on my Commando.

So far I'm rocking Caldari gear, before 1.8 I had lvl 5 cal assault and lvl 5 calogi, now in 1.8 I have lvl 5 cal scout, lvl 5 cal sent, lvl 5 calogi and lvl 4 calmando.
I also have lvl 5 RR, lvl 5 SR and lvl 4 FG, the only non caldari things I use are the AR (lvl 5) and the SMG (lvl 5) but I'm tempted to skill into the bolt pistols soon, after I get FG to 5 and it's prof to 4.

Lloyd orfay, character possibly just a little over a month old.
No skill points put into suits yet
Uses a militia Amarr heavy suit as a Commando fit
Uses Mili Minmatar as an anti-tank or hacking Ninja
Uses Mili Gallente medium suit if I need some extra survivability or Gallente Light suit for some speed to get to places or hacking ninja.
I like the caldari and amarr, but I barely use Caldari suits, damage types and all. (Also caldari made very effective shield blasting weaponry... While forgetting that it's so easy for enemies to get their weapons and that they are shield based in technology... What the flux Caldari?)
Often uses Caldari and Amarr weaponry, Rail Rifle, Magsec SMG, Bolt Pistol, Scrambler Rifle, Scrambler Pistol, Laser Rifle.
I don't even have a suit and yet I make the most out of the suits and weaponry I can get now.
I am aiming to obtain Amarr Logistics suit though.
Currently using the wonderful faction warfare feature to get LP for good suits.
If I can't kill an enemy, I'll just use my heaps of dead clones!
