I sense that you are unable to find any movies that you enjoy watching. Older TV series are also on Netflix, and it doesn't take a genius to realize there is some pretty good stuff still on there.
If you are one of those people who believes you "have to be watching the biggest and shiniest movies" then Netflix is not for you. Frankly, I use it to watch cartoons and some shows I'd never heard of before, as I don't regularly watch cable.

I'm a grown man, not some kid. I don't need the "biggest and shiniest". Save that for the people who want to see M. Bay's Transformers debauchery. I don't need a handful of b-grade movies either; passing it off as if its some bargain.
Netflix has nothing. People pay for it because its cheap ("what ya mean you can't spend 10 bucks for movies per month yadda yadda") and just deal with it.
Even the suggested titles do nothing but offer you the same movies over and over again. The search function is useless. Once you use the search function, you find that the library is limited due to movie rights galore.
I can go to Hulu and pay to watch Real Genius. Go to Netflix, they suggested some b-grade crap that watchers rated 3 stars. But no Real Genius. Yea, that licensing crap. In which Netflix don't get a bunch of. Yea, I'll pass.
I rather pay for Hulu than to be bamboozled by that Netflix crap. Oh yea, aren't they raising the price of Netflix since internet providers charging more for Netflix users and admitted to throttling those customers. Anything I want to watch is a stream/download away.

Network TV is the worst crap known to man and you still have to deal with commercials. Most of the garbage on TV is reality BS, or just terrible.
At least with Netflix and Amazon Prime they have some of the best shows from a ton of networks. And Amazon just got the HBO Collection, which means I can finally watch The Wire and Deadwood.
Netflix and Amazon Prime are the best $18 a month you can spend. While I agree the movies can be lacking at times, the documentaries and shows are well worth the small amount of money.
Orange is the new black is much better than most shows on TV but I still think House of Cards is the best Netflix show. But Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are still the best shows on Netflix.

There is more wrongs in this universe that one could commit when paying for a service. I don't use Netflix anymore and have Amazon prime because I obviously forgot to cancel my free trial during Christmas  |

I think for some ppl it's really a huge win. I mean who wouldn't salivate at having cat food and litter delivered free of charge rather than lugging around to and from the store 50lbs worth or litter and 20 lbs worth of cat food. The movies have at least been entertaining and delivery is pretty much what they state. Paying the $1 for express is the only time where sometimes it's a day late but it's rarely used.
For those who have it or netflix I'd say my current favorite movie on prime is 13 Assasins. I think this is where Prime and Hulu are useful; international flicks you don't want to really purchase but are really entertaining to watch. My only word of caution is Idk how good Prime will be in the future because it's now $100 to join where as it was $79 when I joined. But I'd have to say I'm on the verge of renewing it again if that says anything about how well run their service is =) |
