I wish I knew who originally came up with these suggestions so I could give out the appropriate credit and praise for these awesome ideas.
  1. Better WP payouts for using a better nanite injector. <--CCP Rattati is already a fan of this one.
  2. No counting deaths against people's KDR until their clone is fully terminated.
  3. Giving a small WP payout (say 5 or 10) for terminating an incapacitated clone.
How does everyone else feel about these ideas, especially pertaining to how they compliment one another?

    In order
 - Been advocating this since closed beta
 - Totally support this idea, honestly a much deeper overhaul of KDR is needed in my view but this would still be a step in the right direction.
 - Not opposed to this concept, especially as a counter point to #1 as it gives players more incentive to play against the possibility of a revive.

Sounds like an excellent plan, in addition to being an elegent solution to team killers in FW and clone farming.

          1. Like the idea. 2. No. You got killed, you pay for it. If someone revives you they should get rewarded, not you. Kills/deaths also need to balance so if your death is not registered neither would the kill be, meaning getting killed would have no consequences.
  3. No.
 Because, that's why.

  3. No. Just because a death wont be registered, doesn't mean a kill wouldn't be as well. The main thinking behind #2 is that when you're in the mortally wounded state (bleeding out), your not actually dead, and it doesn't say clone terminated yet, so it shouldn't be counted as a death; only when the clone is terminated should it could as a death.

I like 1 and 3 but I'm not so sure about 2. There's really two correct ways to think about it. As you said implementing #2 makes more physical sense; but it also lowers the value KDR as a skill metric and tilts the scale even further (Stat padding wise) to big squads and "protostomping". Not to mention the average kdr would skyrocket above 1, which is mind boggling. "you mean more mercs have been killed than have died? Wut?"
The only way I like #2 is that the kill doesn't count in your stats unless you, somebody else, or natural causes finishes them off. Anddd I don't really like the sound of that either.
On the other hand it would give stupid blues some incentive to wait for a medic, something many of them struggle with.
