So logged in to test the changes with Hotfix Alpha, and I have to say good job CCP The changes are good with armour fitting, and cloaking and make being a true scout challenging. The Plasma Rifle seems to be making a reappearance, along with the Plasma Cannon ...
I have used the Plasma Cannon since release and up to 1.6 it was my primary weapon until AA received a major buff and surviving long enough to fire became a serious pain, and just was not worth it.
But now !! 1 year later I am finally rewarded for my SP investment in Plasma Cannons... Boo Yah! Previous to now I ran basic PLC mostly due to the low difference in tiers.... Alloteks where severely under performing I am happy to see splash dmg and fire times are the same as before, the only buff being direct hits It is finally performing well V vehicles while still taking out infantry if you place your shots well.
Anyway, just wanted to leave a note saying Good Job, and these Hotfixes may have a very positive impact on gameplay in Dust514, I was more impressed yesterday than with a few of the recent builds and this was just a fix
@ CCP Rattati ... Good Job, I look forward to seeing how you continue to work on Dust, and I hope these fixes continue until we see a well balanced platform for you guys to work with.
Hopefully the following fixes will target Vehicle V Vehicle Combat as the ADS is way to strong for something that should essentially be Transport, but they rarely are.. Instead they are Flying Tanks giving no support to team and just stomping. And in HAV terms, the Blaster changes look good but the problem is Particle Cannons being the go-to win button

I have to say, i salute CCP Ratati for his hard work. I love the new changes they did especially the armor modules. Now i can use my other armor module for my suits. Also the assault rifle is great and i can use them again but i wish CCP can add a tiny buff on the range, plus the Burst and Tac assault rifle is still not useful as the CR, they need some work please.

This is definitely the hotfix of the true gallente.
Armor reps (the federation's thing)- buffed Plasma rifles- buffed Plasma cannons- buffed Gallente scouts were hurt the least by the cloak nerf, as they can still be the stealthiest

Glad to see the plasma cannon becoming more useful at AV I always loved it there is just something satisfying about getting long distance direct hit kills with that weapon.

Galscouts lost 20% scan range and 10% dampening in addition to the cloak nerf, though.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

Plasma rifle needs to be further buffed.
