Why do I have to hack my own vehicle to return it? This feature makes no sense.
Press O to recall, or reduce hack time to 1 second.

That would just mean any tanker/pilot/lavist would just insta recall after taking damage or running out of ammo.
I will be the only player to Prototype every single god damn weapon before Dust dies. I swear to it.

You have to "hack" to recall because the RDV is only programmed for delivery and not pick up.
Had they ever impemented this the recall action would be instant. However you would still have to stand around protecting your vehicle while it is being removed.
Either way you're left stood there doing nothing for a few secs.
Do what I do and stay in the thing until you're a flaming wreck of metal. No recalls, no problem  |

Is this a troll? There should be NO recall of vehicles except at supply depots and exiting a vehicle should take several seconds.

If it only took you one second to recall, then it would have to be the exact opposite of delivery. Meaning you should wait for the RDV to pick it up and carry away. Personally I think thatGÇÖs a great idea but that could be because it would give me a better opportunity to kill your vehicle than the current method.
I have never proto stomped but now that DUST 514 is dead I can do it without remorse!! 247 million ISK to go.

Agreed, there should be an animation for exiting vehicles. None of this magically popping in and out.

That's fine, just as long as I don't have to stand there and hack. I don't understand why I have to hack. Waiting for RDV pickup is completely acceptable.

Did you try tanking before we had that feature?
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim

I would only agree to this if there were supply depots in a (more or less) safe place in the redline and more within reach on the field.
Except the exiting part. That's dumb.

Then depots only give you ammo, and you can't change suits until you die and lose the clone. Sound fair?
I may be missing something, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't call for a tank nerf before Uprising 1.7. - Atiim
