Only played 5 or 6 matches today, but so far it looks good.
Not nearly as many cloaked scouts running around. My Gal Assault is worth running with it's better repair rate, and I can actually run away from a HMG/CR if I'm near a corner.
Overall, it seems pretty good. Though you can barely see anything as a Gal Scout with max skills and a complex range amp. Feels like they got the numbers wrong, because I can swear that I saw further in 1.6 then I do now. Also, the hit detection seems a little worst on the Ion Pistol.

And I actually saw you in a game just a few minutes ago lol Was the first one back, it hurt. Small world. Not sure about the Ion Pistol, but I'm noticing a lot more heavies now, or at least it seems that way. RE's still do the trick though. 
If it was that dom with the CRU near the end...I'm sorry, we camped that thing hard.
The Ion pistol could be some server lag, I haven't had much luck with it tonight and swapped it out for a flaylock.
Now I see just outside the first ring, pre nerf, it was just inside the 2nd ring on the tacnet. That is with max skills and 1 complex range amp. Seems a tad excessive, dropping it down to 2 or 3 percent per level would have been fine.
