One thing, can you prevent farming ISK by crouchers and most importantly can you fix modded controller auto fire control that basically makes a semi-auto rile into an automatic weapon, there are ways to do it, the question is are you willing to do it.
Also, you do realize that scout using keyboad and mouse have an advantage in strafing because their input is not analog its either On/Off for a movement key ?
I think its necessary to do this, else debuffing the combat rifle for example, have no effect if you still have a burst rifle that does higher damage that has the behaviour of the assault variant that becomes the less effective weapon. |

I've tried a modded controler, it really sucked. Anyone with a little skill can perform just as well without one due to Dust's various ROF limitations.
- Good point about the keyboards though, super strafe since early beta....

Apparently you've never played Resident Evil where you jam the analog stick back and forth really fast to escape a zombie grab.

This is wrong. I bought a modded controller so when I went against certain corps in certain pubs I could have an advantage. I timed 5.5 bursts per second with my combat rifle. The RoF is completely bypassed for the combat rifle.
That being said, I don't use the controller. I bought a cheap one and it requires that I change the layout of the controller scheme and I am too lazy to learn a new controller scheme in order to take advantage of it. I'll likely be selling it soon.
But again, modded controllers operate far better than a human can possibly begin to operate a controller. This has to do with the fastest possible reaction time of point .11 seconds but then there is about a .1 to .2s delay between the pressing of the button and the signal through the controller back to the console. The Modded controller gets rid of the human element and bypasses the controller delay by about half.
I agree, this should definitely be addressed. I would argue that the combat rifle is completely removed and only the ACR variant should exist.
As far as Keyboard and Mouse I do not use that myself. But if it's that big of a deal then you should switch to that.
