make base weapons with modifiers instead of a million differnt weapons. so example, you want to equip an assault rifle, you buy base assault rifle from the market, it comes with iron sights, it shoots full auto, it has an average magazine size, it has average rate of fire, you can carry an average amout of ammo for it, it does average damage compaired to rate of fire, it has an average optimal range for its class. base weapons have low cost but are not specialized.
you can enter a weapon fitting screen that allows you to customize base weapons that is a submenu from each drop suits fitting screen. weapon fitting does not limit cpu/pg but rathe costs more on a suits fitting.
In the sub menu you can add a scope change the trigger,change the magizine ect. scopes would change the range with the option to have differnt sights for different ranges including iron sights and scopes for all ranges at additional costs to the weapons base cpu and pg. triggers would be available to change firing type(burst, single,and auto) this would effect the rate of fire and damage as well as the weapons range and base magazine size depending on ammo consumtion ( higher rate of fire= more base ammo=less range=less damage) the magizine size would be split into 2 parts: one that cost cpu effects magizine size, and one that would cost pg effects max ammo carried. rather buying specific modules for magizine they would be on a scale system that would allow you to fill the empty cpu/pg on your suit. example if your suit fitting was 239/241cpu 89/96 pg you could add 2 cpu woth of clip size and 7 pg to ammo capacity.
rare weapons would come equiped with weapons modules but could still be customized (yellowprint)
if your fitting runs out of weapon modules but you still have base weapons the fitting is still valid less the bonuses from the modifiers,with the exception of special weapons that come pre-equiped
you can make hundreds of variations to weapons as well as have the ability to use the full ptential of you suits cpu/pg or even sacrifice suit modules for more ammo or bigger clip sizes.
