Better to do that on a heavy frame where you have at least a bit of armor to tank with.
Even replacing one mod with a plate would work better, two plates would be optimal.
I'm looking forward to my 750 armor Amarr Sentinel with 28/s :P
I could do 900 with 20/s, but I'm not sure how well that would work seeing as how my 12.5 before the hotfix wasn't really all that great.

Iv been logi since beta so if you want to know how good that many reps per sec are then read my SIG.
So long as you don't stop moving, you should win most 1v1 engagements and do even better in gun fights with less focus on you.
Its just a std repair tools worth though so its not that amazing but if you utilise it properly then I'd dare say that no one will enjoy fighting you ever and that you should be coming out on top most of the time.
I would say that 2 complex damage mods would go nicely as your reps could tank a good amount of shots + strafing + damage mods and you have yourself one mean bastard of a fit.
A gallente ar would go nicely as the DPS scares people up close and its getting a buff soon.
Hmmmmmm, I think I just found something new to skill into.

This is a buff for gal sentinels. Having those reps make it easier to steam roll pubs, however in PC environments is not as effective. Amaar is still King of Heavies.

all I had to do on my Gal Logi is remove a shield extender i had as a filler... and I think I'm going to bring CPU from 4 up to 5 soon. That's about it.

I used all reps before this. way before it was even mentioned. I also used more reps then plates since i started armour tanking at uprising.
