Well, i think the shotgun needs to be watched, i can't understand why i play with assault and a scout that get me from back do 682 around in 1 shot and he kills me with the 2nd.
i think is pretty annoying, i was thinking about to give 2.5 seconds to shoot again, or maybe nerf the damage as well.
I Mean what i see in the battlefield is only Heavy/scouts, no one just use a medium frame cause of the unbalance.

Patch is soon, sg got a nerf in 1.8 when they lost the rof in proficiency, now it shoots slower but wit more shield damage, 607 with proto sg pro 5.
Leave as is

The only thing I want to be changed on the SG is the operation skill. Spread reduction IMHO makes really NO sense on a SG and this would move the SG further in the CQC corner... |

It's not really the shotgun that's the issue so much as the ability to instantly decloak and gib someone with it.
How many shotguns did you see before 1.8?
There weren't really any shotgun changes in 1.8, but the usage shot up dramatically because of the scout/cloak combo.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.

More like it's dependancy on scanners. Still don't need a cloak on my fit to sneak up on people and have them accuse me of being a "cloaked cheater"

What do you think the Shotgun's optimal range is?
What do you think happens when a target is outside that optimal range?
Within that optimal range, how do you think its DPS compares to Fine Rifles?

nerf shotguns harder they still 2 shot my heavy suit(non bricked) with just adv shotties and like 2.5 shot with normal.

Maybe just get back in you tank then?
Shotguns are fine, if you had killed the scout he wouldn't be shooting you with it. Don't blame the shotgun for killing you when it's your fault in the first place.. |
