My missile tank is afraid. My skyshark is still hungry, but cautious now that the prey will bite back.
To be honest some of the most interesting av fights I've had against my python has been very skilled plasma cannon users. I never got the name of the most skilled one I fought against but man was he good. Dodged my missiles like a boss and hit every shot except one, had to pull a tricky maneuver to dodge it too! I'd like to see more PLC's plz! |

Unless the numbers have changed, a standard swarm will still outdps a proto plasma cannon. Hopefully, however, things have changed. I long for AV to have multiple options.

They have been given permission by CCP God to **** everything in its site. The game is coming to an end and CCP God does not like tankers. I hope all those guys who specced into tanks QQ on the forum about a little old plasma cannon. Well if you do QQ about a plasma cannon I think its time you just uninstalled. My Galmando is going to be King, I already do great with it.

this, I wouldnt get too excited about the buff.
it will be still a single shot weapon that has slow projectile with drop off combined with long reload time + 1sec animation delay between each shot.
what the plasma cannon is good at => countering heavy HP with direct hits. |

I'm not sure it'll be killing many HAVs, but there is one hilarious edge case with the allotek...
With a prof 5 allotek, a damage mod, and a level 5 Galmando, it might be possible to OHKO unfit BPO shield LAVs.
You have long since made your choice. What you make now is a mistake.
