From a 28" using VGA (so, 480p, methinks) to a 39" using HDMI.
Holy sh!t. This is a new game.
I played the best matches I've ever played. And I'm talking about rounds where the teams are fairly even (no more than a 15 - 20 clone advantage either way). My KDR has improved about 3x - 5x. Before yesterday, a KDR of around 1 was normal for me doing my usual things--scouting, running frontline, and piloting.
Yesterday I went half a dozen matches easily with a KDR of between 3 and 6 (15 - 20 kills). Not very impressive compared to many folks on the forums, but this is a ridiculous improvement for me.
BTW, I was running solo with a SCR, usually my Templar.
The moral of my story: HD >= 70% of getting gud. God damn. |

Ha ha, I just did this also last week after buying one on sale for the holiday. My squadmates keep laughing at me as I am still pointing out 'new' things a week later!!

To bad it only goes to 720 at 60 hz. What's the point of buying a 70" 1080p at 240 hz.

True, but still--coming from 480 via the VGA connection... I swear, it's pretty much like this.

Tried it on my brothers 180" home theater, Stewart screen, dolby 9.1... To big had to turn hy head to see it all, even in the third row of seating. First world problems eh?
