Pick up Final Fantasy A Realm Reborn for 40 bux, it comes with 30 day sub.. and has a pretty cool stroyline. And hard for most to finish it in 30 days ;p

I did the same tbh. Played maybe ten hours and its just sat since. It was still nice to play for a bit though. I'll probably try to finish it off before I grab a ps4.
I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

It's part of a divide in FF lore when you think about it. Some of the old-school rpg'ers usually thing of FF franchise as everything pre-FF9 and FF11+14. FF9 is sometimes a debate issue. Then there's the crowd with FF10 and beyond where you get the FF sequels which was first seen with FFX-2. I think SE is still adjusting their audience scope but most of their resources seem to be on FF14 for right now. But they did do a great job on launching Tom Raider.
I think what made FF7 tricky as far as prior FF games and later ones was that it was a project that was worked on hugely on piecemeal and some of the ideas and constructs for it were either delayed or transferred to other games like Chrono Trigger. I also remember reading in interviews how some of the tested screenshots demo'ing their 3D rendering helped to eventually solidify a direction for the game.

I've only played (and beat) FF 13. It was amazing, and Lightning, Fang, and Vanille are some of my favorite fictional characters of all time.
so now that I'm (somewhat) of an FF fan, I've been thinking of playing FF7. I saw Advent Children on Netflix and that was pretty neat (although I only understood half of it), but did I ruin part of the story by watching the movie first? |

Lol I had played 4 jobs to 50 and finished a full darklight set w/ relic +1 in 30 days. Thinking of resubscribing soon, now that I'm about done with dust
