The GAR never left. It was always good.
It's just that all the other Primary Rifles were better in pretty much every way possible. 
And yes, it NEEDS to be renamed to Plasma Rifle. |

Pretty much this. The damage buff isn't what made the Geks and Duvolle's loose ground to the railgun and combat rifles, it was overall usefulness. A railgun will still be preferred by more players because the absolute range on it still gives it the superior edge over any AR. And sure a "slight buff" is nice but it isn't world breaking; a Creo AR isn't going to outdo a railgun at medium distance still; add complex damage modifiers and the railgun would still win that shootout.

I just cant believ I spent 200 dollars on this game. Every single gawd daam thing they fkng do to this game is either backtrack, uneccesary or fk up.

The starter suit is getting buffed. AR is getting 3% and rep. modules increasing, it will be fun to see if there is any difference.

to see what this buff is going to fell like put one basic 3% damage mod on your dropsuit now and run the AR and see how long it takes to kill anyone who has armor plates on there suit. then try the assault combat rifle and see how long it takes to kill any suit and you will see that the combat rifle has the best damage profile to kill any target.

Except.... Throwing a basic 3% on the gun is not the same as having the 3% and a damage mod. I'm personally fine with whatever, I have an exile on most of my G/1-S commando, and have been running the burst and breach on my assault. Its kind of fun if you know how to shoot the automatic plasma rifle not like most of these spaz out spray and prayers.
*disclaimer* This is in no way shape or form a post comparing the PR to the CR or RR it is simply a statement that I'm doing just fine, and I have all 3 rifles proto.
