Everyone knows about AV grenades, right? How they are magnetically attracted to vehicles, they don't explode unless they come into contact with vehicles, etc. I think it will be good to tell people how I use or remind others of this use of AV grenades.

 AV grenades: Anti-Vehicle Proximity mine?

Okay... Instead of throwing them directly at tanks or other vehicles, I get a special build equipped with them and nano hives and I litter them on the floor on roads in certain maps, I use the nano hives to drop about 4 grenades over the road. Since they do not explode unless they touch a vehicle, players will drive over them and get their vehicles either destroyed or soften up for easier destruction, destruction will be possible for tanks if done with 2+ people and the grenades are not too scattered.

Try it out and give me feedback.
Bump if you like the tactic.

They don't explode if they touch a vehicle, but they will disappear after a certain period of time.

Your much better off using Proximity and Remote Explosives instead.

I only use them when there's tank activity around, so that may be a little remedy for that. Do you know the exact time at which they vanish?

It's not like players can easily gain SP for prox mines and all, just my shortcut for making due with it.

That's how I use to deal with taxi's back in the day. Throw 3 in front of you watch them drive over all three then boom.

I find it to be a better solution to getting up and close to tanks too, especially in maps with bridges.
