The vision promised in 2009
Three (undelivered) things standout to me that made me excited about Dust, and would make me excited about Legion.

MCC commanders directing teams from the MCC.

MCC commanders deploying installations. Even games like Section 8 managed to do player-deployable installations.

No less than a 64 player cap. The game will be on PC (hopefully maybe on PS4 eventually), without the restrictions of the PS3's hardware (which managed to handle 256 player MAG), there is no reason why 64 player battles shouldn't be a goal. This is a very big one.

PVE and some sandbox areas is nice an all, but these 3 things were what made Dust 514 sound so exciting to me when I first heard about. Frankly from what I have seen from Legion, its basically the current Dust with better graphics, more sandbox areas, PVE, and other smaller changes; other than that, it doesn't seen like the big ambitious leap forward that I believe it should be.

Yeah, I have no idea how he installations being launched by the war barge prevents the players from getting a say in the matter, so Godin's excessively dotted comment makes no sense to me. The war barge can drop installations on demand when a commander asks for them.

I said "MCC commanders deploying installations", nowhere did I say that the installations have to come from the same place as the commander (MCC); unless of course you thought I meant the commander is personally lifting up and throwing the MCCs into the battlefield with his/her own hands, which would be silly. I would say you were nitpicking, but there is nothing in my wording for you to really nitpick at the way you're doing.

Also, even if I somehow did imply that the installations should come from the MCC instead of the war barge, what would be the problem with that? There is no reasons that installations have to deploy from the war barge instead of the MCC.

EDIT: An ellipsis is only 3 dots, and that is not how you use it. It is used to indicate an omission.

1: You didn't specify, so therefore yea, you did. As I said, learn to word things correctly. And as far as where they deploy from, it's a problem of size and space.

Preposterous, ridiculous, and frankly ludicrous understanding of the nature of implication; so me not saying where the installations are dropping from somehow implies that I think they're coming from the MCC? that does not make any sense, clearly you are not as proficient in the use of the English language as you would like to believe.

On the matter of the ellipsis, use the resources available to yourself by way of interwebz to educate thyself good sir. Here is one of such sources of grammatical enlightenment.
