This would make factional warfare or planetary conquest more involving for the capsuleers.

Maybe have it so the capsuleers have to launch a camera drone?.

New skills for a camera probe or drone?.

I play Eve as well and would absolutely love this.

If its been mentioned then I'm sorry. I'm waiting to see how legion is first before talking about anything a bit more complex.

Maybe even being able to control the drone?.

EVE Pilots orbiting the district marker should be able to view the satellite feed from the Warbarge with the Tac-Net overlay (Basically our Spawn map). EVE Pilots should have the ability to target their own orbitals in FW and PC.

This would increase EVE interest in Legion by 1000%. You give them a chance to see us running around like ants, and the ability to pull out the magnifying class and fry us. Yup, that will have wide appeal in EVE.

A pilot would have to be with the correct faction in FW, and be part of the correct Alliance in PC to get the feed from the Warbarge. If the Pilot does the targeting, then they should be subject to friendly fire penalties (but every enemy kill should cancel out a friendly kill).

Thw satellite feed should be hackable for those who aren't of the appropriate Alliance/Faction.

Yes, but failed hack attempts should set of alarm bells.

Yes, but failed hack attempts should set of alarm bells. Only if they are monitoring for breaches.

 No free intel.

A spectator mode like those in other FPS games would make snipers and any other stealth-based gameplay completely obsolete.

Think a bit further. There's plenty of ways to implement it without ruining it.

You are thinking of just 1 way and its the wrong way.
