If the Gallente scout can't stealth what is there left for it? A huge stack of armor plates, repairers, a newly buffed assault rifle and a cloak.

It will still be the stealthiest suit in the game. & the fit you described is already a thing, just replace the AR with a CR. I just don't see the point you are trying to make here. |

Yeah, it's weird how they nerfed the stuff that made it a good eWar suit and didn't do anything else.
I really want plates nerfed backed to the point when they gave crappy hp and were painfully slow. It's not like my GalAssault is worth running anyway.
Edit: not to mention the CR nerf doesn't look to good in paper. Guess we will see come next patch.

What you're describing is my current "combat" suit: after the dropsuit SP refund, I abandoned my Gal assault suit SP in favor of taking the Gal scout up to proto--now I have a faster suit with more flexibility (one suit equipped with an injector and repair tool, just to live out my logi fantasies!) with tons more CPU/PG, lower profile, better scanning and slightly lower EHP.
Sadly, I no longer use my scout suit as a shotty defensive ninja like I did pre-1.8.
