hey guys,
just saw two players boosting in game and wanted to report this. They did thank meele/revive combo:
Name (boosting): mugi1 chokoo
Name (partner): sifjepfij diodjoija
Game mode: Skirmish
Date: 05-31-2014
End of game: 14:24 (Eve time)
Start of game: ~10-20 mins earlier
Server region: Europe
Pic of proof: click
Dont be so hard on them, seems like the guy that was boosting is new to this game  (or it's an alt  ).

Performances like these should trigger an internal audit.
Question is, how would that trigger differentiate between Booster and Blaster Tank?

...how i play this (since 1.8 (respectively 1.7)) broke game has nothing to do with people go against this games policy, that you have to work honest for your sp and isk like everyone else, that boosting is not even nearly a "tactic" and that he could not have wrote anything more dumb.

Even if people are always discovering new methods to boost and farm kills and warpoints, there are a few well known ways, like hacking the same installation or vehilce with two guys over and over again or killing a guy, get him picked up by a third guy and killing him again (like in this case). CCP could implement a code to detect those action replays, wich differs to a guy who has a good run and kills a lot of enemies in a short time or a blaster tank just raging. And this code could trigger a warning message or even a kick from battle.
At this state CCP counts that the community points out boosting trough the forums or via support ticket. I remember CCP Logibro replying to a similiar case in the past where he welcomed threads like this.

Are you honestly claiming that melee/reviving a punching bag alt for 10-20 minutes is on par with someone entering the match driving a tank? |

I'd be ok with CCP banning someone for this even if they realize later that they made a mistake and lift the punishment. Without investigation. Think about the most deaths you've ever gotten in a skirmish match. I've never seen more than 30 deaths in a single match, besides a FW match where my team was suiciding the whole time. Then they were getting like 50 each or something. I've never seen anyone able to die that many times that quickly. That mixed with the name being random letters and the corresponding kills from the booster. Insta-ban. Let them try and explain it later, and only then investigate any further. |

If CCP would fix the game this would'nt happen!
I BOOST ALL THE TIME! If I kill someone, I expect them to STAY DEAD! Its not my fault if a logi comes and revives them. I have never contacted a player to boost. It just happens sometimes.
I NEVER kill the medics.

Much like Santa the leaderboards are b.s. Wanna make a point... Get some buddies and get 20,000 kills in a weekend see if it gets some attention. Use an alt they might delete you. I was really disappointed when I saw it recently. I got 1500+ kills in one week legit ( had a couple days off ) didn't even get in the top 100 weekly... #41 in wp tho . Seen people break 5000 kills in a week musta been a boy in a bubble.

I dont fully agree with you but understand you  .
I got like 80% of my all time kills as an infantery player. Didnt even had a single skillpoint into vehicles before 1.7. But know after 1.7/1.8 with all those cloaked scouts, shotguns, heavies and overpowerd weapons i dont see the point anymore.
Spending most my time driving or flying a vehicle now. Its way more fun. And fun is why i play. |
