As I have said, vehicles are not in a good place at all. But as I thought about it, I didn't explain what is wrong with them. Allow me to say what I think is wrong instead of just yelling at you Rattati.
1: TTK is way too low- Vehicle fights don't last anywhere near they should. You know what the only thing that was absolutely great about Uprising until 1.7? The vehicle battles. Other than rails sniping DS's out the sky (which is even worse now tbh), they were truly great. Look up the HAV fights, LLV's racing around repping every vehicle it sees (which I'd like back for legion or even dust if you could bring them back, and more), and DS's dropping people off, or going pew pew at infantry or a HAV/LAV that just happens to be in the perfect position (then shortly after drops out the sky like a fat girl does for a twinkie ). I want that TTK back (and yes, Cal HAV's needs a similar TTK as well, so try and work that out).
2: Fitting has become horrid- There was some problems with fitting during uprising, but not to this scale. I got pretty much most of the skills maxed out (the cap recharge one I got at 4, but the rest is at 5, otherwise, pretty much maxed out for building a Maddy). So going to build my fit, and I don't even have enough to fit all my slots without having to fitting all STD and adv. items (mostly STD), and even then that's not enough still? That's just sad. I never heard any complaints before where maxing out a fit meant you could put on pretty much anything you wanted other than insane fits (like a quintuple rep Maddy ). Also, Why did so many of the modules go away, and why did the module count go down? Aren't we supposed to have fits that have meaning? Fits that are actually different? We had that before. Now? No.
............. Actually that covers everything that can be done for dust (iirc new things won't come for dust, but for legion, anytime soon anyways). The only other point I have is there to be more than "Go pew pew at turrets, find all other vehicles and go pew pew at them, and kill the occasional group of infantry. Vehicles and infantry needs to work together to do things.
put it like this: There's a big ass wall in the way to get in a compound, and infantry on the enemy is firing at the infantry outside the gate. The gate is tough, and has AV resistance. What do you do? call in a HAV or two, cover it/them from incoming AV, and let them smash down the walls. AV could shoot the wall, but it would take longer, and that time you might need later on. Or the opposite, a bridge is lifted, and a convoy needs to cross. What does the convoy do? the infantry gets out, kills the infantry there, and lowers the bridge. the convoy could find a way around (especially if the bridge is destroyed, or is too guarded), but again, that time factor.
That is the kind of teamwork I want to see. Forcing teamwork by splitting the HAV into a third gunner and a pilot is not a good way.
