That the minmatar assault was so fun.
Screw everyone and anyone that has posted on here about it not being a competitive suit or even useful. About how it sucks and doesn't compare to the other assaults.
I have the Amarr Assault and the Minmatar one is just a beast.
Dat clip size tho
What makes it even more insane is being able to fit a cloak on the proto version.

The M Assault is the best Assault by far. I think most players know this.
The clip size boost is AWESOME. If you didn't know, it applies to Swarms AND Sniper Rifle. So at proto you get an extra shot out of your swarms AND sniper rifle. In addition, the fitting reduction for high requirement weapons (i.e. Proto AR) gives you some serious room for damage mods and HP modules.
After I'm done with my incubus SP allocation, and Electronics and PG from 4 to 5, I am 90% sure I will be going for the Min Assault.

I've used it since Uprising and really like it, I think its biggest downfall is its really not as good as the other assault suits at any level other than proto
Most tankers are like sand people. They frighten easily, but will quickly return...and in greater numbers.

By definition anything that has mass that comes out of a gun is a projectile thus the weapons are projectile weapons. I didn't know that CCP re-defined words in their universe. Thanks for telling me this. I originally considered using the Min Assault to finish off my 30 Balac Gar's. I might actually go into G-Assault then.

They haven't really redefined terms. Energy is not a projectile, so that's out. And in strict military terminology rail weaponry is called something along the lines of "magneto-kinetic".

I agree, great suit, but I can also fit a cloak on my Cal Assault. The stamina and speed plus stamina regen and the cip size bonus make it a beast imo.... |

Umm no, gun powder come out of a handgun and its not considered a projectile, also spent shell casings are not considered a projectile. |

It's the best suit IMO (besides Scouts, for obvious reasons).
Dat strafe, plus the clip size for a CR... I tried it out on an alt, I wish I had it on this character. :(

Amarr Assault is a terrible suit; I've been using it a lot for a few months now. It's slow, has poor regeneration and a bad slot layout.
Its only redeeming factors (though they are big ones) are the fitting capability, and the massive bonus to ScR .

I think it has the best PG CPU layout and offers a lot of room at proto for a proto weapon and basic cloak with proto modules if you are 5 in Elec/Eng.

You can fit a cloak, yes, but you will be passively scanned by any scout suit on the field. You'll need two proto damps to not be scanned by a calscout that isn't running precision enhancers. Those real calscouts that run multiple precision enhancers will eat you for breakfast the majority of the time.
TBH I love seeing logis in cloaks. They're an easy meal. I just figured I'd give you a heads up on the whole dampening thing. |

I feel like the Min assault has a lot of potential, but IMO, the slot layout is effed at basic and proto levels, and the Caldari's superior shields/regen makes it more survivable in 1-on-1 encounters. I won't contest its bonuses, but the only projectile weapon I use is the SMG, and ammo/clip size isn't really an issue for it.
It's sorta like the Amarr scout--it's almost super great, but it's outdone by the Min, Gal, and Cal scout suits.
On this note, I'll do a little proselytizing and say how much I love my G-I (and occasionally G/1) scout + Scrambler Rifle + SMG. It spits the hot fire. |

I'VE BEEN SAYING THAT THIS WHOLE FKING TIME, NOBODY LISTENS TO LITTLE OLE YEUP UNTIL HE GETS OVER 50 KILLS A MATCH WITH IT. Ps, leave the cloak for the scouts and logistic suit cloaks, no more crutches.

Umm the Min Assault bonus should only work for light projectile weapons (ie the CR or ACR) which does not include the AR or the SMG. If it is giving the bonus to these weapons it should be reported as bug to CCP.
