Lets look at suit dynamics: -Heavies = More armor,less speed,less stealth Heavies trade speed and stealth for raw power and defense.
-Scouts = Less armor,more stealth,more speed Scouts trade defense for stealth and speed.
-Assault = More armor,more speed,less stealth Assaults trade nothing,and gain both speed as well as tank.
-Logistics = Less armor, less speed,less stealth,less weapons Logistics trades armor,speed,and stealth and even weapon while gaining nothing.
Does anyone else see what's wrong with this picture?
Logistics get less armor and yet are still slower than their assault counterpart.
Logistics either need better tank than their assault counterpart,or more speed.
Tank makes the most sense for a support class.
It's ridiculous to say "ok logi,go survive with less weapons/speed/tank oh and we'll need you to carry all this valuable gear,and you can expect to get killed first everytime there's a shootout."
Fix it CCP,give logis a base stat buff to tank or speed.
Oh,and before any idiots make any comments about gear having "weight",the logi suit was specifically designed to carry the equipment,it's the only one that shouldn't suffer any speed loss.

You need to decide where you want logis CCP.
Either -Inbetween assault and heavy in armor -or- -Inbetween assault and scout in speed
It's very annoying to have the most responsibility and yet get targeted first because of my inadequate tanking.

That was true. I was using my minmatar logistic suit for verything. It was the best before 1.7 This is why i listed speed buff as an option,then logis could out run assaults but couldn't out tank/kill them.
And as of 1.8 i became a Min logi and there have been many times where i have tried to flee but have been too slow to do so successfully.

The Min logi (the fastest one) is as fast as the slowest assault,and it has less armor.
Scouts have the least armor and have the most speed.
So 1 of 2 things needs to happen: -Increase logi tank to represent the speed loss
-or-
-Increase logi speed (walk/sprint) to represent the armor loss.
Logis would either become: -2nd only to heavies in tank
-or-
-2nd only to scouts in speed
I would prefer speed,to escape dangerous situations. (personally)

Logistic suits have negligibly better scan precision than assault suits.
Logistics suits have slightly less EHP, speed, and give up a side arm(except Amarr) for more CPU/PG, high/low slots, and more equipment slots.
Assaults get a marginal amount of EHP more than scouts and are worse in all other aspects.
Not saying that it isn't annoying that my fatty on a leash is constantly outrunning my logistic suit though. But you need to get your facts straight if you intend to be taken seriously. The extra cpu/pg is to compensate for the additional gear their role requires of them.
And about slots...it would take -1 armor plate -1cardiac regulator -1 shield extender -1 shield recharger -1 shield regulator -several (2-3) kinetic catalysers
To equal their assault counterparts base stats, before they add any modules.

Underneath the logi bonuses it reads...

This means that logis will have to sacrifice more slots to be better at their job,while assaults still won't have to.
Assault suits are actually far better than logis,it's just that slayer logis can carry enough equipment to not have to rely on any support (see the assault scout brick tanking currently happening).
So,my point still stands.

And speed looks better every day.

With "LOLSCOUTS" running rampant,this is a serious issue.
You'll respond to threads about buffing scouts over logis,but refuse to respond when logis want something more fair?

You did get one thing right.(see underlined)
Logis are worse off,they only look better because of their equipment capacity.
They have 30~ more shields and 30~ more armor then a scout yet are slower then assaults who have more armor and shields.
This is highly broken,you can't be frail and slow and be balanced.
Durable and slow (eg. heavies),yes Frail and fast ( eg scouts), yes High base tank and base speed ( assault class,which is understandable) Frail and slow (logistics class)
Logis deserve either
-more tank or -more speed
Assaults would still beat them in the opposing stat,but at least logistics would have a tanking specialisation besides "stacking plates".
