I just had this wacky idea, what if all equipment could stick to any surface like the RE's do? You could toss your hives on a tank, jump on and AV nade it to death!  You would have more innovative ways of hiding uplinks besides the cliche' "smother the roof of the tallest tower in them!" maneuver. Imagine dropping off a roof, turning around and slapping an uplink right off the edge where it wont be seen by anyone who goes up top to clear them. Or stick one on top of an installation and have IT defend your uplink for you! Stick a repping hive on the backside of an obsticle you are using for cover or or stick it above your head on the underside of a staircase you are hiding under.
Don't blame me for this post if you don't like it, it might not something important or particularly game changing, but I'm running up to my 26th hour of awakedness and I cannot be held responsible for my actions. I figured if the RE's can do it the other equipment probably could too so I threw it out there. o7

I wouldn't have a problem with this, if it weren't for the fact that Drop Uplinks would be spammed to the point where you couldn't counter them.

You know how in other games you can/could stick REs to people and then wait for them to notice before blowing them up?
I think that was the epitome of being annoying...
A: "Dude, you have C4 on your back"

Being able to stick drop uplinks to vehicles would kind of interfere with mCRUs, but I wouldn't mind that since those appear to be used very infrequently anyways.
I do wonder though what happens when you stick a drop uplink to the side of a tower (while jumping off it). Will all the blueberries that fall for your trap drop to their doom if their PS3 doesn't load the new assets fast enough? |

Not saying any of this is true, but there may be issues with certain kinda of equipment that do certain things when there's a lot of it stuck to eachother which may include launching/teleporting people halfway across the map..
