Has anyone else noticed how much more lag their is since the fan fest announcement?
Every map, every game mode and every server I have played is awful and tonight was by far the worst lag I have experienced in a long time. And we are under 3k players right now so it makes no sense the lag is this bad.
Maybe CCP is just accelerating the inevitable and allowing lag to cause players to lose the little joy we have left in this game.

There was a thread about this a day or two ago and I commented then it had gotten worse I had noticed starting May 2 Fanfest.
And it is really bad tonight. It is a shame really.

I thought it was just in my head. Last night when i was playing it seemed like some players were teleporting around.
I cant count how many times i died from players that seemed to just teleport in front of me.

This has been happening to me more and more. People appearing to teleport is one thing. Being moved back 20 meters and then forward again is even worse. |

That or maybe they allocated more servers out of the cluster that dust is in to work in the legion cluster. |

Last time I played, I unloaded half my HMG mag into a SEVER suit. He took no damage, having some sort of new experimental shield extenders that mitigate 100% of incoming damage, and killed me with an SMG.
Normally, I just have to compensate for my lack of skill. But now, I have to compensate for lag as well... |

Its quite simple.
We have had a lag cycle going in Dust parallell with the various new builds. So, when a build is fresh everyone plays a lot, this makes for a bigger pool of players helping out matchmaking, and then I mean in terms of player count raising the chance of finding players from your own region, not any sort of "real matchmaking".
So when the builds are all new we play and have fun, but the older they get the more players are fed up. 1.7 made a lot of players play less due to tankspam and low TTK + other issues. The less players that play on average leads to an increased chance of Scotty having to pull players from all over the globe to fill up the games, hence more lag.
We are now way past the point of the novelty factor of having new toys like the cloak and new guns, these days all I hear is QQ concerning the wast amount of HMG fatties and shotty scouts. And there is no denying it, at least concerning the European playerbase that I'm dependant on to get less laggy games has certainly decreased their activity level due to the Dust Keynote. I play vs US and Jap players a lot more these days, even with European servers selected playing in EU primetime....

1-CCP ticked off a lot of paying customers who probably had good internet and who no longer play.
2-This probably resulted in a smaller playerbase.
3-Probably no money to pay typically means no money for good internet.
4-Probably CCP reducing the number of server clusters.
Anywho back to Warframe. |

I've gotten some pretty wacky crashes (resulting in "server unavailable" prompts and disconnects) and lag-outs tonight. I've never seen anything like some of them.

Ahhh yez all MAG playerz know this aspect very well, we call it the RUBBER BAND EFFECT, Usually works better with MDA or LSD

Forget Crappy Chinese Programmers, This is the reason why Legion will never be a competitive FPS.
That **** is ******* unacceptable in this genre.
If they plan to stick with Server-side Hit Detection, this (or any other iteration of this) game will be a complete waste.

Just curious but what is your location? I don't want the address just to know which country/state you're in, if possible state game modes played on a regular basis. I might just know why U appear to have less lag which could confirm my theory
