Ok a couple things ivr heard different answers on . Firstly the sound that keeps chiming when your going apesh!t on the enemy team what is that about? Its not headshots.yes headshots make a similar noise but not the back to back sound.
Next one is the widespread argument ive heard about breaking the rep tool,what causes the rep tool to stop generating points ,can the rep tool be reset by performing some other function for a certain amount of times\kills etc. We'll start there see if i actually get some answers. Feel free to speculate,but im ultimatly looking for a devs answer.

Is the first issue something consistent with your experience?
You may want to file a bug report
Secondly the rep tool (and SP overall) has a capped SP gain rates to prevent over farming of SP by bots and boosters and the like. If you feel that as a legitimate player the SP gain rate or starting amount is too low make some noise about it and see where that can go.

Its not a bug it seems to be an unspoken killstreak indicator happens mainly when i merc like 6 people then drop an orby on them just want some clarifacations.
And its like this my main is a true logi my mass war points in a game a couple weeks ago was right at 9500 16 kills 10 deaths i did not need to die nor did i need to kill once, i was going for my record on the meatgrinder/ahole/production facility whatever you like to call it but everytime i broke the tool i would head right into the supply depot where we had the enemy forward spawn located core locused and md raining hell into there i just dont like the fact that once my reps tools broke its out yes i know theres more ways to make points but i dont like causing lag ya bunch of nano spaming point hookers

If you want an answer from a dev, you'll have to post in the "project legion" section of the forums. They dont care about this section any more.
I only play dust514ums now. It was always more fun than the actual game anyways.

I've always wondered what that sound is as well. I would agree to the kill streak point but I've gotten it without getting a kill streak. Apparently Iron Wolf doesn't play the game enough to know what you're talking about.
I agree with the rep tool WP cap being a bit ridiculous. I'm sure most logis do as well. Honestly farming in this game wasn't ever that big of an issue. Most logis need those extra WPs to top the leaders boards to pay for their ridiculously expensive suits. WP cap is part of the reason why I specced out of logi in the first place, that and the ridiculous, uncalled for, nerf to equipment. I always feel bad for killing proper proto logibros. Knowing their protosuit costs nearly twice as much as mine. |
