I think someone was pulling my leg when they said this. But do you get more points by upgraeing your Nantite Injectors? Someone was saying they get 100+ SP for every down clone they bring back. |

I'll keep this short because I have somewhere I need to be.
Higher tier nanite injectors do not give you more points for a revive. However if you pick someone up with a standard nanite injector then you use a repair tool on them you will get more points. So... if your going for warpoints use a standard nanite injector with a proto repair tool.
IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!!!

Confirming that from an earnings standpoint you never want to go above a 30% needle in the current iteration of the game. As Killer points out above you'll be missing out on potential WP earnings when using a higher meta needle as it will 'cheat' you of the repping points without giving any further reward.

When ruNning assault I carry 50%, when running logi it's a 50% or 80%. I prefer the 80 for picking up heavies because the longer he lives the longer I do usually.

The higher meta needles are more effective tactically make no mistake about that. When it comes to 'risk v reward' and potential earnings however the higher you go beyond 30% needles the worse off you are. It is unfortunately the current case that WP scaling on injectors causes the least tactically effective needles to be the most rewarding.
Keeping your team alive and fighting is a great role to play and should be rewarded, unfortunately at present that's not entirely how things are done.
Cheers, Cross

I see your point good sir. That being said, I hate being picked up by a dirty percenter and not having a rep tool on me immediately. Sometimes I'm stabbing three or four people and repping them as soon as I can, so if they might need to shoot or keep me alive they have a little more EHP to do so. I only run two rep tools; the six kin triage or core focused so I fix them up quick. |

i being a logi dispise that.. as most people want to get back intot he fight fast i prefer useing adv50% armor or proto injectors 80% armor.. meaning less to have to rep when they get up, having advanced Drop Uplinks in close but safe areas also guarentees a nice steady stream of +25 points while injecting people is +60 a time and kills are 50 hacking is good too at 100(or various other values)
think my best WP farm was useing MASS driver (50 a kill or 25 assists) weapon and spamming choke points had dual uplinks (+25 per person and dual uplinks makes it faster to reinforce your peeps) and nano kits resupplying (+10 per resupply tick) AND repping people(+20 per armor rep and no need for remote repper then) AND injector (+60 a time)
only really works when you can use the advanced uplinks ( 2 active) and advanced L4 or higher nanite kits for wider area for rep/ammo distribution and yes you could get more points if you used basic injector but that means lower chance for them to actually get away to be repaired and if they die after you just rezzed them they have to respawn in a new suit costing the team a clone.

Cheers, Cross depends.. in high threat areas and choke points i find higher tier needles to be better as it revives them with more armor giving them a chance to get out of the hot zone and fall back a little to get reps and reload.

Indeed, which is why CCP needs to fix the rewards scaling on the equipment line so that we're not being punished with lower potential rewards for running better (more expensive) gear.
