does it seem like caldari scouts are like, immune to bullets? Either that or its like super slip to the point bullets just miss it 80% of the time. I caught a proto one off guard with my steelmine hmg, I swear I only hit him twice before he spun around and took me out by strafing and spraying his CR. Is it just me? I take out gallente and ammar scouts just fine. Should I start skilling into caldari scouts? I want a users opinion on how good it is.

What weapon are you using? They have high shields so it helps to have something that has more damage against shields. That's the only thing I can think of. |

Its the hit detection the hit box is sooo small that only extremely accurate weapons like the scrambler or rail rifle can hit it
I just want to go home:(

I always see topics like this I really don't understand it. Caldari die just as well as any other suit. I feel no more immune to bullets in my Caldari scout than I do my Min scout. The only "problems" that might arrive are their natural resistance to the most used weapon in the game: The combat rifle.
Things to possibly consider: Caldari are shield tanked suits with a high base movement speed. Generally armor is not used so they strafe very fast compared to a gallente who's armor greatly reduces their movement speed which decreases their strafe speed even more.
Not saying anyone's wrong but I really have not noticed any difference in the hit detection of a Caldari suit compared to any other scout.

Carry an Ion or Bolt pistol, and use it when you find one. 9/10 times you'll simply murder them.
Explosives are a bad choice, **** even flux nades are(had one escape a direct hit with 130/360~ shield)
Remote explosives manage to not kill them (get hit marker, see calscout finish hacking an walk off with 200 shield)
Sniper rifles deal 15-20% reduced damage(took 120 damage from a Tactical? Really?) even thale's are surprisingly lacking in ability to 1 hit 200-250 shield calscouts.

to be fair i do find them the hardest to hit. nothing scientific just an observation, but i do wonder what the hit box size of all the scout suits are and if they vary? |

IDK Moody...I ran into a basic cal scout with just over 200 shields, and was chasing him in my min scout, got up to him close enough that my SG read 110% efficiency, fired, and he didn't even lose half shields,while the shot was center mass, and he was walking, not even sprinting.
People generally run into the problem using CQC weapons (SG, I've also encountered it with NK's) and projectile weapons
Also, the name escapes me, but someone recently posted a video showing broken shotgun hit detection, and in the video, it showcases the shotgun not actually registering damage against various targets. What was interesting, however, is that ~70% of the targets shown were caldari scouts...I personally do believe that they are slightly bugged with hit detection

There does seem to be something just a little off with their hit boxes.
Anecdotally, minmitar scouts are very easy to hit while strafing in CQC (relative) compared to caldari scouts, who seem to simply be much harder targets, despite min scouts having faster strafe speeds

Never had too much problem with Caldari scouts. Militia scrambler pistol work great, even for proto Cal scouts. :)
I actually have an alt that is Cal scout, and I have a harder time playing as that than I do my Gallente scout. I'm just too used to having that armour buffer I guess; can't get used to the different movement style you need as a shield tanker.

I've been running an advanced LR on a lvl5 Amarr Assault lately. I find it extremely hard to kill a CalScout at optimum range even with a preheated LR beam. I've had one ck.0 strafe through my beam 4 times with no or minimal damage.
Other scouts don't do that. Other scouts die.
I'm not saying they're immune, I'm just saying that I find it easier to kill a gk.0, ak.0 or mk.0 with a LR than a ck.0. |

IMO it feels like there is something wrong with the strafe animation for Caldari Scouts. Whenever I see them try to strafe they end up teleporting.

i wouldn't skill into it yet. a nerf is coming. if it doesn't... people will be pissed.
My thoughts on Hotfix Alpha: First I noticed a scout running from my AR. Then a heavy. Then a COMBAT RIFLE USER. CCP +1
