I've understood that we probably aren't getting more client updates, but something doesn't add up.
Scrambler lances and plasma mortars were in development, along with minmatar and amarr vehicles.
Why would CCP suddenly just drop everything for a project that's years off?

MTAC's and SP Rollover were also "in development" and should be released by the end of 2013.
The problem was there were a lot of promises that they could not keep (watch FanFest 2013) and decided to jump over to the PC in the end. DUST was officially launched 5/14/2013. CCP Rouge was the person that suggested going to PC and he came about in October. So let's say October to today is when Legion was being worked on. That's 7 or 8 months. This means that Legion "has been worked on more than DUST" in the year it has been released. Obviously that is a bit of a loaded statement but still, it holds some truth.
I would question how "in development" Scrambler Lance, Plasma Mortar, racial RDV's, racial vehicle parity, and Precision Rifles were. I have not even heard of the Plasma Mortar and the Scrambler Lance was only something I ever read from players rather than devs.
