Leaving before it's over should cost all spawned clones, not count towards kills (only deaths), and always count as a battle loss IF you spawned in, and have zero isk and SP payout. Wanna leave fine but not after inflating b.s. Stats and making somebody else spawn into a lost battle waisting their time because your not winning. A immortal would never feel like saying " s@rew this I'm not getting killed again" this after noticing people with negative k/d and w/l over 3000. Maybe make it so people cannot join battle if your MCC has lost shields. |

No that's penalizing to other players who continue the fight in the battle. Don't punish those guys. If the guys left, the guys just left.

they're already losing 200,000+ ISK. can't see how much more you could penalize them.

Watching groups of people leave battle within the first 30 sec is irritating as he!!. ( you know the only reson is they see a q-stack or they lost a member from their stack ) at least give them a loss for leaving.

Why? What points do you bring to the table in regards to why this should be a thing? The only thing that I've read is you whining because you spawned into a losing match or a match that ended. Locking people into a battle is an awful idea and breeds people standing in the redline doing nothing because they've lost and locking people out of a battle only punishes the people that were already playing.

Protip : You still get your payout, it just happens when the battle ends - do it sometime and check your wallet, it avoids some of those terrible transition screens.

So people shouldn't be allowed to leave for any reason? like their squadlead or logi got fatal error'd? all I'm seeing is whining with no major points to support things and juvenile demands to punish people for things that aren't even worth worrying over.

And I'm whining because I don't want to load into battle to watch the MCC explode because you don't wanna be troubled with finishing you sh!t attempt or watching the end. @ssclowns like you waisting my time. loss of any equipment lost normally throughout the battle (you lose a suit then leave you are down a suit) no isk/lp payout no SP gain ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ KDr is maintained under the assumption that no matter how good/bad your team is your performance will be roughly the same.
disallowing joining after a certain point in the battle will only result in lopsided teams.

Isk is paid even when the battle isn't completed. Apparently once the battle is over even if you leave. Otherwise leaving after a death would be ******** isk wise unless u have billions and then why would you care anyway? But it happens constantly. Deserters are hated by soldiers. Probly why I hate them.
Kdr always the same? Not if you leave every time your getting your ass kicked. And only stay when your wining.
Lopsided teams... Blame proto stomping corps q/syncing. Even the best players should lose occasionally. Highest current kd 1003 but his win loss is .96 .
Wanna get paid? Then finish the round.

dc'd and it costs you more as well? No. spawn error (where the uplink dies but leaves you in the timeout screen until end of match)? No. Game froze or where it hard freezes your PS3, requires resetting the POWER on the PS3 and repairing the file system? Again, no.

So what I'm hearing is everyone likes joining a battle to watch a mcc explode? So you don't have to watch a cutscene? Or play without your corpmates? And get paid for not finishing? ... Here's hoping next time your cars broke down and you take it to a mechanic he pulls it apart, says this is to hard, I can't finish it, that'll be $200 bucks finish it yourself.

But as for only deaths count, are you out of your mind? So if i bust my gut going 50-10 trying to pull my useless team over the line but i get a fatal error or the server kicks me that counts as a 0-10? Yeah seems really fair.
To make a proposal like this im guessing you dont get many kills so you dont care if they get discounted due to factors beyond your control. |

And no isk or sp cause the server kicked me is somehow fair too?
You still get any sp you accrued in a battle (3sp / 1sec in match + sp = to wp earned) and whatever isk you would have made too and this is as it should be. There have been zero arguments of any worth to the contrary.

How does leaving battle benefit us? Also, Usually i leave battle when something else IRL happens, I almost never leave battle because of stomping.
Are you talking about the people who join after another person leaves? |
