I dont think galscout got nerf, still have his natural damp bonus and I've always fitting him with ferroscale plates. So the hotfix dont bother me at all :)

I don't see this as that big a nerf. If you were relying on the cloak as a primary means of damping, you're doing it wrong. All scouts will still be passively invisible to everything but a scout and have an easy time avoiding scanners if they build their fits properly. The changes to reppers and the various plate types might make a combo buffer/regen build possible too.

I also don't see a problem with this. It forces people who want to be invisible have very little health. You should have to sacrifice something. Oh, and you still have those bloody R.E.s, so don't complain too much...

It's about time, frankly. The armor plate and cloaking changes have been needed for some time now.
That said, I suspect the Gal scout will still reign supreme, but the gap will have narrowed. |

Clearly, you do not know how to scout.
This is a nerf to the other scouts without an inherent dampening bonus. The Gal will still stand above the rest, and this saddens me.
This is not a good move, but it could have been worse I guess. I remember having 1 EQ, no cloak, 1 HS, 2 LS and no inherent armor reps, and higher precision/dampening values.
Geeze..... talk about the good old days. Everybody's talking about the good old days.... yeah, let's talk about them *****....

The gal scout well be the only one used anymore as the cloak dampening removal hurts the other three scouts and not the gal scout.
But yes as less players run scout suits the increase in amount of lazy fat ass heavies with hmgs will be the final nail in the coffin for me and this game.
