all heavies can walk up stairs, but a heavy cant jump for S***, just about 4 inches (Real world, this world is low gravity if you remember.) and I can jump up a small ledge? Cmon CCP, can you guys do a hotfix to make us jump a bit higher? it would help. alot.
My sig is suuper old.. now i rip faces with my HMG. looking for logies yo.btw #tacos

They said something about being able to vault over small obstacles like ledges, safety railings, and small children at some point. I do agree though. I hate spawning on a roof uplink and not being able to jump down. |

Yes, I wish those dumbasses would quit placing links where heavies only get stuck. I was on a roof with 4 heavies the other night all running around on a rooftop looking for a way down and doing our pathetic little jumps at the railing.
What, you think maybe I should look where I am spawning first? Screw you.

I think that they should be able to jump a bit higher at the cost of more stamina and that would make it quite fair. There are times where I wonder why they can even jump in the first place. I don't run heavy often but when I do, I do it while drinking Dos Equis and wondering why the F@&% I can't jump anywhere.

This should be an attack of some kind. Scout's with shotguns would rethink tackling heavies if we could fall on them. |

im an amarr assault and I can't jump rails either... It is a trade off I have to deal with and I accept it.
The only penalty to being a heavy is limited movement (despite being able to turn around as fast as any suit.. whatever) so really, this is a Buff Heavies thread if I've ever seen one. |

I run both and I just deal with it at this point too: except for that one ambush map with the rings.
There's a spot right next to where the CRU would be that the auto-spawn deploys you right on a wall. Where a heavy can't get off.
One time when I was trying to AV on that map I spawned there; had to suicide, cost me 140k of proto Sentinel.

Don't worry guys. At some point CCP will include proper gravity and physics to the game depending on the actual planet we're fighting on. You know, cause all planets in New Eden have different gravity, mass, climate, etc, yet every map we fight on looks like we're in a desert and physics plays absolutely no role, for anything, ever.

Nothing like doing an ambush and the first spawn has me in an area I can't escape so I have to kill myself or let someone else get a kill. At least we no longer get stuck to everything. |

I have to say heavies really should be able to at least clear 12" in a jump. I was on a map with that pyramid warehouse logi'ing a heavy. We climbed up on the roof and skirted one of the elements there when he got stuck in the little well around it. I was able to walk out of the well but he couldn't even jump out. It's stupid. There isn't even a railing to blame, it was just this little 8-9" deep well around a roof element. I dare not wonder what kind of little heavy-traps Legion is going to have. |

There is nice solution for climbing, but it depends if you carry Forge. Shoot stright down and you get high.

I actually figured out how to get off that thing in my Templar Heavy
I never understood why there is railings on these roofs etc when there is no roof etc access in the first place

I block the ambush battles because the spawn campers were out of hand.
getting rooted / stuck when you find a good spot to snipe from like getting wedged in a crevasse
