I saw the video after it was released, and I agree that, WE MAD THIS GAME. And that CCP completely ****** up the "Dust Key note". I agree on the point that without us, there would be no Legion and Dust, and I mostly agree to the point, that the console community cannot be excluded!
So what now? CCP Rouge who don't know this community or the New Eden community is smiling happily in the Dev-Blog while he is killing Dust, and Hilmar who knows the community and the New Eden community is apparently approving all this! Most of us have or are financing CCP via EVE Online or Dust, and this is how CCP is treating us. What is this madness? What can we do about this? Seriously what?
I know that I want Legion, as well as I know that I not going to play it on PC. I'm still not forgiving CCP for the way they treated Dust514 fans who come to the Fanfest, just to be told, that his game is going to die. But I don't know what to do about it, I'm loosing faith in CCP, I never expected this corporation to tread his community like that, I was expecting this behavior may be from EA, but never from CCP, I really never did that. I used to be such a fan of CCP.
What now? I want Legion on PS4, that is a I have left to say.

If you wont play Legion on the PC then you'll have to wait for a PS4 port.
Just like how PC players have been waiting for years for a PC port for Dust.
You are certainly welcome to not play on PC, but there is little point in continuing to whine and cry about it. |

I have done a bit of research into the Rouge Wedding fiasco, and it has become apparent that the decision not to tell us what was going on before the Key Note was made by CCP RougeGÇÖs superiores. We can still probably blame CCP Rouge for not presenting the information at the Key Note in a more sensitive manner. But even there, it is my understanding the CCP Rouge was lead to believe that the round table following the Key Note was going to be broadcast. If it had been a lot of our questions could have been answered before the panic really set in.
So, it seems that the PR F*** up should be blamed on CCP Upper management, and probably the marketing department, who have no interaction with the DUST Community. I think the GÇ£Red WeddingGÇ¥ trending on Twitter may have gotten their attention though.
I donGÇÖt think it worked out quite the way CCP Upper management envisioned it. Maybe they will not be so quick to take us for granted next time.

I think we all (most of us anyway) agree that EVE: Legion is the future and it is a good one.
We also all (or mostly all) agree that the way in which it was done was **** poor. All the sessions about "DUST" were actually about EVE" Legion and we essentially got zero information out of FanFest besides "DUST is Dead"

Yeah, the presentation was FUBAR... but I don't blame CCP Rouge for (all of) that. (I did my research as well, and it seems he became "quite" (understatement) pissed when he found out the round table was not aired Live). Shame really, since the information on Legion was very interesting but totally overshadowed by confusion and bewilderment.
I have gotten over the shock and still enjoy Dust (for what it is, not "will be"), and I think there is some life left in this tired merc.

There quality looks nothing short of good after the demo but still need to wait for the go ahead on development. |

I think that putting an avid DUST player in charge of DUST 514 in the go forward is an encouraging move. Given the timing though, I have to wonder if that would have happened if it had not been for the fallout after the Keynote.
After watching an number of recordings of talks CCP Rouge attended at Fan Fest (some of those recordings really crappy and taken using a Smart Phone) I do feel he is the right man for the job of developing Legion. I think his values are in line with what the Community wants out of the game.
On another note, I wonder if the Corp name GÇ£Burning TreeGÇ¥ is taken?
