A slightly shinnier turd is a poor answer , better than they were . Fact is they function very poorly. Both target delivery , and yo yo lag issue. Fix it here , get some more practice for ccp 's real game .

Lol, in my pc match yesterday we called in 2 dropships to try to rush the city. Get the first squad loaded up in the first dropship and the rdv brings down the next one crashing our first squad into the ground. Great way to start a pc match against Escrow :P

Ahh RDV's dropping your vehicles from insane heights so they explode, rubber banding your vehicles, and my favorite was early uprising where 2 RDVs would circle each other for minutes.

To be even more fair, there was a time in early to mid patches of uprising. 1.3/1.4 possibly? where RDV`s were actually a lot better than they ever have been since. Does anyone else remember this or did I just get really lucky back then? lol. |

If you can spawn 20 clones out of a drop link a clone should be able to carry enuf nanites to spawn one vehicle per clone.

1. Consider allowing pre-deployed vehicles to be placed during the warbarge segment.
2. During the middle of a match the odds of a dropship being called onto another friendly dropship are greatly reduced. It happens most at deployment. Some kind of graphical effect that shows the angle a friendly cloaked RDV is spawning and approaching from could reduce these accidents quite drastically. |

Coming Soon (tm) ?
But... But... But.... I've heard this before!
The delivery code has been "fixed" several times now.
What was it... 1.3, then 1.5, then 1.7 that brought us to our current RDV situation. I can't wait to see the dirty band-aid your second-rate Chinese programmers throw on this one.

If your giving it away...maybe 10 billion... I'll spread it around to the deserving. I've have over 200 million on one char 50 million on the alt my wife uses... My only corpmate. ( earned through solo play, and about 200-300 officer weapons, I run a logi so no need for an officer weapon really ) but it's because I use adv gear and always turn a profit of around a million or two a day on average. I've also gave away around 100-150 million to new players ( unless their snipers or ads/tank pilots ;) ) so they might stick around a while. I join random squads but if they start q-syncing, I leave... Figure the other team could use a chance ( 15 guys in proto gear don't need my "help" beating up on newbs) I would like to see a game mode with fair matchmaking, not 14-16 exp players vs. 2-3 and a bunch of newbs that will most likely never play this game again. Pyrex was right when he said "we are ruining the game". If legion dosn't have PVE it won't last a year, (the only reason why I started playing initially was because the PVE in the promo looked so cool...talk about dissapointment) whenever I see the other team is q-syncing I'm almost always about to be #1 on the defeated team...sooooo predictable :/

MODIFIED? YOUR JOKING RIGHT?
Comon RDV"s are the single worse example of CCP Shanghai's ability to even use the UE3 engine.
They have been a static broken problem in DUST for 2 years now... They haven't got any better or any worse.
If you made a giant Fuk up that persisted for 2 years without fixing it. Would you hope to keep your job?

Random idea
If corporations are able to gain assets (MCCs, RDVs etc.) that it may be cool to be able to upgrade the RDVs ...like having them come in cloaked so the redlined triple damage mod rail tank cannot take out every vehicle that could pose a threat to it before it lands.
That or allow multiple RDVs to come in simultaneously so an organized team can call in 4 vehicles at once...one or two is bound to survive at least...
