With dns falling and the game dying GTA's own nickmunson of Capital Acquisitions LLC is working on a way to create player trading. Yes you heard me player trading. Now when his tests are concluded you the community will be able to trade anything you specced into and dont want. Yes its not exactly how we wanted it to work but its something.

That sounds ridiculous.
It is also misleading to suggest that it would be player trading. At best you could do loot swapping in PC, but that is about as close as you can get.
Trading with a 50% success rate is not trading.
Real AV doesn't stop until all the tanks are dead.

We already know that it is a 50% drop rate.
Read the dev blogs.
Having people enter into a controlled PC environment to initiate lottery trades is a bad idea.
How do those trades work?
I'll go into the match and die with 50 Balacs, hopefully you get 25, and pay me for 50?

Clearly there is no master "mind" behind it.
Basic math would have told Nick the idea was a non starter.

No, it is a really bad idea, and I have explained why.
Take my advice, let it go.
But I'll tell you what, if you think it is such a good idea, how about I trade you all my officer weapons, which is currently 100+ Balacs, 70+ Krins, 50+Thales, 80 Wolfmans, 50 Calas, and I think 30 Gastuns Forge and 70 Gastuns HMG.
My price, 2 plex. Paid up front, of course. I don't care what you get out of the loot drops either. Better be in a solo corp too, because if anyone joins your match for 60 seconds they get in on the loot drop.
Are you really going to pay to potentially get those officer weapons? The loot coin flip is on each individual item. You could get lucky and get 100% return. You could get really unlucky and nothing. Or a corp mate could join and steal half of your trade.
On top of that, of course, is that someone has to pay for the clones for the trade. You doing that? I wouldn't be if I was the one giving up my items.

Also, since you have to actually lose the gear, nobody trying to keep their KDR up will be interested.
And yeah, I'd find it funny when someone bought a ton of officer weapons and got literally none of it.

this idea is terrible. 50% drop rates combined with the need for a private pc match that could cost 36mill to trade 60 fits....
please do go ahead and waste your time an isk on this.
player trading isnt happening this may be the only option but its a crap one.
