Trying out a little of everything for laughss and I just can't make this weapon work. You are locked in place while charging. I feel like a big assed target. Who thought this up? Speak up dev! May as well attach a kill me please sign to my ass. So, most ill thought out weapon goes to the breach forge gun. IMHO. Its hard enough to play peak a boo with a tank as it is. Lol.

A pair of pro 5 forgers using breach proto forges will rid the map of most vehicles. Get high and rain death. Dropships will die trying and you'll eventually get terrorized by snipers so have a logi drop you some rep hives. Keep your eyes peeled for rail tanks trying to get into sniping positions. The coward tankers will ride the red line the whole match. Pro 5 forger and ADS pilot. I know how difficult it is to battle them too.

You can jump while charging. May sound silly but you can learn to take advantage of it. But that's about it. Edit - it's a beautiful thing when you dodge a blaster by jumping in and out of cover.

AFG just has way higher DPS. Even with other fattie buds, 2x AFG > 2x Breach as far as I'm concerned. Just my 0.02 ISKies. The breech variants take patience and good positioning to be at their most effective . P's you can also bunny hop while charging. Proud Gunlogi pilot and forge gunner since August 2012. I fought and bled for the State on Caldari prime.

AFG give you little more freedom of movement and timing. Not much time left...
