A lot of people have expressed their desire for a proximity chat to be integrated into Dust (And now Legion I suppose). For those who don't know, this means that whenever you're close to friend or foe, you can hear their comms through your TV. The great thing about this in MAG is that it didn't interfere with regular communications. If you had your mic on you would hear your squad and platoon commander through your ear, and proximity chat would be heard through the TV speakers.
This is great, as it aids in squad combat massively. Currently in Planetary conquest the general idea is that all 16 people mic up on the same channel. This means tight, specific tactics in squad combat can't really be achieved as there are so many people who are talking at the same time, and if people use squad chat then it means you cannot communicate with the others so easily. For example if my 6 guys are in Squad A on comms, and I happen to be near someone in Squad B, I can't tell them "****, look out for that remote!" without switching channels. In the same way when all 16 people are on the same channel it's very difficult to get these messages across.
Of course this is mainly something to be fixed with a generally better communications system, but I think proximity chat could help.
Another thought I had would be the ability to carry it as a equipment. One could hack into the enemy's comms as it were, and relay information back to their own team. I'm just spitballing here, but it's a new dynamic that I don't think many games (if any?) have tried.

MAG set the bar in comms as far as I am concerned.
It would be phenomenal if Legion were to have a similar setup.
Prox chat too please (though the ability to hack enemy comms would be awesome as well).
