Alright it is 448pm HST (I live in Hawaii....stay jealous) and I don't have the freaking Announcement that IWS and CCP has stated CCP will be giving. Not only is it the end of the week but this was announced this past weekend at this point.
Did I miss something other than a little work at my job while posting this? Someone help me out here.

Not to be rude of course Saberwing, and I'm undeniably happy we're getting at least this after the disappointing Fanfest but it just sounds like you're setting up the backbone to be a lot lazier with updates. Instead of new weapons we get variants that are in reality the same weapon. Small tweaks and "Balance" changes are meh compared to the things that were "on the roadmap" over a year ago.

I can understand that. Dev resource is currently being split between DUST and Project Legion. I wasn't here a year ago but am aware of what was promised back then. I want to be as realistic as possible and communicate that to you guys. That means setting goals we can definitely achieve, rather than overpromising and underdelivering. We still want to deliver an awesome experience and want to do that whilst being transparent and honest about what's attainable.

I am still waiting for the end of the week big new that was hyped as well.
The news we got was certainly not big and is really just "hey we are here, tell us what you want and we will listen"
No actual updates announced, just that they may do something within the next 10 years no solid dates or timeline given for any future patches,bugs balance,content.
But hey they will listen to all our brilliant ideas and say hey that's a good idea, and nothing more will ever come of it. |
