Now I'm back.

Honestly, Dust doesn't suck. There are multiple things wrong with the game, but the enjoyment factor is still there. Compared to other FPS games I've played, Dust really has more depth in terms of its mechanics and overall playability. |

I simply decided I don't want to play a game like dust anymore.
It reminded me why I never used to put up with the same bugs for months at a time.
Reason : other game companies fix them instead of waiting a few months. |

This game has always sucked. It was the promise of one day not sucking, and being everything CCP and we envisioned that kept it from really sucking. Now that it's abandonware . . . it sucks. Still playing. BPO's baby. Actually, DUST isn't horrible. Let me rephrase. CCP sucks.

"Deal with it" is usually a term assigned when someone has no choice. That would be the case if Dust was the only option for people to play.
Thing about the free market, is that when people aren't happy, they go elsewhere. People dont have to deal with Dust, they can go play one of the other FPS games.
The difference between those games though and this one, is that the other ones try to make things better and more pleasant for the players, while here the veterans have a sense of entitlement that its their obligation to run this game into the ground for a kdr and tell everyone else to just accept it.
Consequently, these other games have 5 digit player populations while we struggle to break the 4,500 mark on a Saturday afternoon.
Now if you'll excuse me, I got some other threads to read where people are wondering why CCP wants to toss this entire thing in the trash and start over. |
