I need some help on ways to earn money.
I do not know how to earn lots of money. I earn about 150,000 ISK per battle, so I found out that some earn a lot more.
If you have any other ways for me to earn money, mail me some info, or if I can do some sort of "paid job", or "mercenary work"?
Thank you very much.
NOTE: I already have a corp, The Blood Clan

Strictly run ambush because the bouts are quicker than skirmish or Dom.
Only run your free starter fits.
!0 bouts nets around 1.6 million ISK or so.
The key is spambush and starter fits when you are new to start your nest egg.
You are welcome.

The best ways, from my experience, to earn more ISK are the following;
1. Run your free starter fits for a day or two - Everything earned in pure profit as the starter suits don't run out. If you want/need to run as a Logi or Heavy, use as much militia gear as possible. I have a Heavy fit that's mostly militia, save for the HMG and the suit which are both basic. It costs less that 6,500ISK per suit, and it works perfectly well (NOTE: I have a lot of SP invested into skills that benefit me as a Heavy, so you mileage may vary on this one)
2. Running Ambush is, as already stated, generally quicker than running Skirmish or Domination. Run your free suits here and you'll rake in the ISK quickly.
3. Destroy vehicles - If you can manage it, destroying vehicles with AV gets a lot of ISK. AV runners can rake in 500,000 or more by busting HAVs and Dropships. You're not gonna do this solo, at least not without a huge SP investment and Proto gear, so find a buddy or two to help.
4. Do not run Factional Warfare! FW doesn't pay out ISK, so it's a massive ISK drain if you're not running free suits.

There are two ways in DUST to manage your income (your payout at the end of a match) versus your expenses (the cost of your dropsuits, vehicles, weapons modules and equipment). Then there is the third option of not managing your ISK at all and just poring real life money into the game; a fourth option, if you are good enough, to get your PC Corp to sponsor your gear; and finally a fifth option to play the market to earn ISK outside of matches to supplement your gear costs (Coming Soon).
1) Only equip what you can afford to loose. 2) Grinding ISK so you can run what you like. 3) Grind in real life and use AUR so you can run ISK free.
Option 1, Only equip what you can afford to lose:
First figure out what your average income per match is. It will probably be somewhere between 100,000 and 200,000 ISK depending on your skill and play style.
Then figure out your average number of clone deaths per match. (If someone revives you with a Nanite Injector you do not loose your gear.)
Then make sure your fits cost less than your average income divided by your average number of deaths. So, if you average 120,000 ISK per match and you die 10 times per match, you can afford to run fits up to 12,000 ISK. If you can reduce your average deaths per match to 5, then you can afford to run fits up to 24,000 ISK.
Sometimes you will die more and lose money, and sometimes you will have a good game and make money, but if you have your averages right it should even out over time.
When you find yourself in a match that is unbalanced and you are up against highly skilled players in good gear, you will die a lot. Economically your best course of action is to switch to cheap or free suits to mitigate your ISK loss. You may also switch to a role which has a lower average death count, such as a Sniper. (Keep in mind that this is economic advice. If you decide to take the loss and run your best suits to test your mettle against good players I would commend your spirit, but just be aware of the economic consequences of such actions. I donGÇÖt want to see you wining on the forums later because you lost a bunch of expensive suits to proto stompers.)
Pro tip: Putting Proto modules on a Standard suit costs a lot less than putting Standard modules on a Proto suit.
Option 2, Grinding ISK so you can run what you like:
This option is the default option if you donGÇÖt pay attention to your finances, because once you go broke you will end up running the free starter suits whether you planned to or not.
Basically grind ISK by using a fit that is as inexpensive as possible so that you keep most of the ISK you make from each match. Then when you have lots of ISK saved up you can buy your dream suits or vehicles and run them until you burn through your ISK, then go back to grinding ISK in your cheap suit until you can afford to buy the good stuff again.
The cheapest fits are the Starter Fits which are completely free. However, you can make duplicates of the Free Starter Fits and customize them a bit to better fit what you want to do. As long as you use Militia gear you can keep the cost down. Check the cost of your fit by selecting the Restock option and leave the quantity at 1.
You can make your fit a bit more functional by using Basic equipment, although this will bring your costs up a bit. It becomes a balance between how much functionality you are willing to give up, versus how much you want to be able to make in a match. Just remember that the most expensive items are Dropsuits and Weapons.
Option 3, Grind in real life and use AUR so you can run ISK free:
If you donGÇÖt mind spending real money, you can buy the Neo suits with AUR, allowing you to do your grinding in real life rather than in game. There are AUR versions of just about everything in the game, so if you are rich out of game, you can run ISK free. This has the added advantage of bringing joy to the hearts of anyone who kills you, for they will know that they are costing you real world money. It is also worth noting that for anything you buy with AUR, there is an equivalent item that can be purchased with ISK, and the people who have the ISK to afford the good stuff are usually really good players, and will probably kill you. This is not Pay to Win (PtW); this is Pay to grind less.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Or you can create another character, and burn free suits so you won't be tempted to use good stuff, and you won't have to worry about KDR (if you care about that). |

Or, if you are far to adverse to hard work and determination, you could start a corporation, find some happy blueberries to spread the word, start a hefty tax, ask for donations claiming PC glory to come and then when you have a sizable load o ISK, you can abscond with your "friends" hard earned ISKies, move somewhere nice and proto to your heart's content.

The way payouts in dust work, is that the is a set minimum match value (I cant remember exactly what it is).
Then for every clone terminated (in public contracts) it adds 3000 isk plus the value of whatever that suit had equipped (so a 200k isk amarr assault that got terminated, would outright add a flat 200.3k isk) to the payout pool, then at the end of the match the winning team gets 60% of the pool and the losing team gets 40% of the pool. Isk is then divided according to factors like time spent in match, and warpoints earned.
In planetary conquest the base value of the clone is jumped up to 200k IIRC

Don't spend more than you lose, seems obvious but works. To help with that:
- put the cost of your suit in the suit name. IE (Scotty Std Fit 8k, Heavy Adv Forger 40k, etc) - keep records. Track your next 5 matches and see how much you are dying in your most favorite suits. See the profit (or debt) you're getting and start to tweak things. Either making them cheaper or just trying different things to see if something works out.
Like other said, starter fits. Don't look at them as punishment. The more you use a vulnerable suit the better you get a feel for what works and smart tactics are not suit dependent. Also, like mentioned above, don't be afraid to tweak things. You might dream of being a sneaky scout, but die horribly every time. Slap a kincat and a code breaker on there and you might be the fastest, dodgiest, unkillable scout able to hack things quicker than anyone else can blink. Tweak things. You'll find your calling.

Two ways to make lots and lots of money.
- Use your free DropSuits when not playing big games. You will make 100% ISK.
- Join a big corp that does PC's. Most of the time you will make 1 million ISK per PC.
As for your corp? Being a part of a corp is a very good thing. But does it do PC's? If not! you might want to look into joining a newer more powerful corp.
You might also want to ask the owner of "The Blood Clan" if you have some ISK. You pay taxes in your corp so it's also your money. But I would try to earn it first example... PC's! |

Wouldn't plan on this being a safe bet. Most of the time, if you're not proto, corps won't have you in a PC to begin with so this isn't much help to him at all.
Also, if you lose the PC you get a big fat 0 isk and a net loss of everything you used (died and lost) in the match. Just run the ambushes.
