I whipped up a few things I quickly thought about off the top of my head.
I'd hope to assume that if revenue can be created from Dust micro transactions the higher chance of client side updates,
but is mostly blind hope as I feel resources will be prioritized to EVE:Legion.
1.) Buy aurum, CCP is a business I think?
-Hell if you really wanted to make money sell BPOs (Adv/proto) on extinction timers, if that's even possible. Isk is never going to be a problem to vets but gives the little guy a chance to spam expensive equipment to help even the odds. [Limited to infantry]
-Respec tokens would be a good source of income too if it weren't too easy just to submit QQ support tickets for respec.
2.) Server side updates for pub balancing
- Assault suits need be brought back to snuff (better racials is a good place to start)
- Cloaking either needs to have profile reduction reduced and/or both scaling basic to proto (5%, 10%, 15%). Currently there is no reason to try to fit a proto cloak. This is the only alternative since we can't easily fix the shooting while cloaked issue.
- Weapons like PLC, Laser,bolt & Ion pistol, AR need to be "balanced" and potentially the new-old FoTM
+- I feel with a more dependable AR, less CRs will be used which we have too much of currently.
- Either work with balance on Swarms/forge guns or keep current AV stats and raise the price of "proto" tanks significantly. Either way needs to be a little more incentive for tankers to not feel like they are uber jesus with <500k ISK tanks. ADS may suffer from swarms/forge buffs, so ISK increase on tanks seems to be the way.
- More gear choice options with the LP store for missing variants. Make more proto weapons with less cpu/pg requirements at a
higher LP cost.
+- The more reason you give vets to run FW the better and also has the highest ISK sink potential. Helps keep less pubs being stomped. Would love for FW to be the go to challenge arena.
- New Officer weapons would be neat, wishful thinking perhaps introducing them with an Event (every 50kills with specific weapons yield officer, 20 kills for harder to use weapons, i.e. Nova Knife/ PLC. And Warpoints for Swarms)
+- Lol, people surely would be excited to see shotgun, scrambler, CR, laser, nova knife, PLC all being spammed. Not much changes from whats spammed already anyway. =P
-As an interim while balancing unused weapons and since numbers seem to be CCP Dev focus, make events for bonus isk/sp for uncommonly used weapons. A PLC event would be hysterical!!
3.) PC improvements
- Clone packs to be cheaper, or same price with option to stack up to 2 clone packs.
- Further anti-lock feature for districts in PC, if match does not fill past ~6 participants while deploying in warbage, match will be terminated with no refund (Dunno if this is possible with coding). The more people required to district lock = less district locking, while still leaving potential to field battles effectively against corps that are spammed with clone packs across their districts (More logistical challege?). This however doesn't work if clone packs are dropped to a much cheaper price.
-Passive ISK gain needs to remain for new PC corps entering the realm
- Old chromosome corporate ISK contracts for matches needs a come back.
